Am I allowed to put examples from works published on Fandom Wikis on a trope page?

I'd been looking for examples for my TLP draft since yesterday, Alternate History - Confederate Victory and I only found one so far.

I thought of using the Alternate History Fandom Wiki to look for examples since their articles are written similarly to Wikipedia and also explain what changed (it's told formally like that site, but still considered a story), and since there's an index decided to Alternate History tropes, I figured that'll be considered tropable.

However, even though they're on a wiki for the public to see, am I allowed to take examples from a work published there? And if so, do I need to get permission from the author of the work or something of the like?

Adding trope examples is a free action, but you really should infer them from the original work rather than from a summary. And you need to write the examples you want to add in your own words.
