Translating works and tropes

Hello, I have been using this page during some years and today I finally decided to participate in this huge project, so during this years I found a few works with a category that changed the language, however this category seems very unused and I thought of start translating some works and tropes to Spanish (my native language) for giving it some use and the same time expanding the knowledge to people who doesn't understand English.

But before starting I wanted to ask if there is some reason or kind of rule I haven't find out in the forums about not translating a lot of pages. If there is another FAQ or forum where this is explained I'm very sorry but I did not see it.
