Disclaimer (I am not used to using the forums on TV Tropes.org, so if I have put this thread in the wrong place, I apologize.)
This is an idea I had a few years back, but I haven't been able to get it off the ground yet. I've tried it on AH.com and the forums on FF.net, but it hasn't truly kicked off. So, I decided to try it out on this site's forums.
The basic premise is such: what if cartoon superheroes all existed in the same universe? What if characters from shows like Ben 10, Danny Phantom, Kim Possible, My Life as a Teenage Robot, and American Dragon: Jake Long all shared continuity in a comics 'esque universe.
I'm thinking that this thread will devote much of it's time to worldbuilding a plausible world where various cartoon characters live and interact; forming teams and fighting evil. In addition, we can write several stories, like crisis crossovers, in this universe.
There is a few ground rules before this thread starts: number 1, no Anime... yet. For now, we will be discussing full-fledged western animation. Number 2, no cartoons like Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Shows like Teen Titans or Batman Beyond are OK (basically shows that can be re-worked into a combined setting), but nothing like the entire DCAU.
