[up](x4) I remember at least one of the Bratz videogames having a side activity where you could enter your pet into obedience contests to earn cash.

That I am pissed up that for some Anime influencers (pointing to the guy of Watch Mojo´s You Tube channel) that anime from 2000-2005 was only Pokemon and the music from outstanding animes like Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto and Inu Yasha has no impact on his "lists"

I think the finest J-Pop went on those years when Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Do As Infinity and even K-Pop singers like Boa where really good.

(I do not mean that current J-Pop is not as good, I am a big fan of Yoasobi and King Gnu, but for that guy seems that between Evangelion and Full Metal Alchemist there is a big black hole)

2005 is probably my most awkward year.

That year was very curious for me, I made my dream come true (study in Japan!) and I made good use of what I had learned for 3 years. But also was a low year for me playing videogames (moving to Japan for 9 months meant that I cant bring along my videogame consoles) and at some point, I got fed up of japanese pop culture (except for Taiko no Tatsuji that was my vice) and started looking for music from my country (the irony, I was almost 5 years in Mexico hearing jPop, and then I started looking for 80s Mexican pop music MP 3 files in Kanazawa...)

But it was a great year because it was the first time I stayed out of my house and the country for too long being only me and myself...

Awkward things we had in 2005: Shadow the Hedgehog, Chicken Little, Madagascar to name a few.

Ironically, 2005 was also the birth year of Mei Lee's voice actress.

I found a DVD wallet of a bunch of media I watched from my childhood. I wonder if anyone can recognise some of these smile

Note: Sorry that the video has to be downloaded to be watched, I uploaded it on Discord and apparently I can only share it by link on mobile.

Ironically, 2005 was the birth year of the girl who voiced the main character of my favorite Pixar movie.

Regardless of whether or not it holds up, the PS2 version of Sonic Heroes was the first non PC CD-ROM videogame I ever played when I was about 5. I'll always be grateful to it for properly introducing me to gaming.

I kinda regret not making a MySpace during its heyday, waiting until just two months from the end of my high school era. I made mine while unaware that it was on its last leg as a social network that wasn't an outright ghost town, with hopes of winning the heart of a girl whose heart I ultimately did not win. I also waited a few years to make a Facebook because I spent most of those years being annoyed that everyone abandoned MS less than a year after I joined, rendering MS mainly a relic of the 2000s.

I was 15 and just starting high school when MySpace was in its heyday, though that didn't stop either of my two younger brothers from making accounts around the time they both started high school, if not a little bit before. It didn't help that there was a lot of media scaremongering about it at the time or that I was the only one of the three that didn't have my own computer (or even my own room; I shared it with one of my brothers). If nothing else, I would have used it for easier access to music (as I had discovered later) while YouTube was in its infancy to try to speed up my transition into a metalhead. I'm pretty sure that, even at the time, I had enough common sense not to accept friend requests from complete strangers (bands aside), though there was a period just after high school where I was desperate to find people to help me start a band that fell through the cracks due to me moving to the city sooner than expected.

I kinda do and kinda don't regret not making a Myspace account back then as well. Mainly due to my age at the time, but kids in my elementary school, even those younger than me, did have Myspace accounts. I wanted to wait till I was actually 13 to use Myspace. I turned 13 in 2009, and by that point, people had since shifted to Facebook/Twitter. I used Tumblr instead in 2011.

Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*
