I miss Cartoon Cartoon Fridays.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Remember when Disney Junior was called Playhouse Disney?
Rock'n'roll never dies!I still remember Playhouse Disney.
Anyone remember Noggin before it was replaced by Nick Jr?
back lolI do also.
Everyone born between around 1998 and 2003, I recommend the Defunctland spinoff DefunctTV if you want to relive your early childhood memories. They did episodes on The Big Comfy Couch, Bear in the Big Blue House, and Dragon Tales, as well as non-edutainment stuff like Legends of the Hidden Temple (which is a bit before my memory, but still). It's not a review show, but a show that touches on the production history of these series as well as what made them successful.
Here's the latest episode on FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman:

Rock'n'roll never dies! The Bear in the Big Blue House episode was the first Defunctland video I watched. Also, the Legends of the Hidden Temple video lead me to realise I'd been conflating it with ITV's Jungle Run for years, since I watched the latter as a kid but saw the former referenced a lot.
I was listening to Colt Cabana's Wrestling Anonymous podcast today and one of the callers talked about how they got a wrestler's autograph on a Kenny the Shark themed Applebee's menu.
I never thought I'd hear that name ever again and I started feeling nostalgic of watching Discovery Kids.
Help me. I can't get it out of my head.I think I have vague memories of Kenny the Shark, but only vague ones.
On another note, does anybody remember Woogi World? Is was like, this educational version of Club Penguin with these things called Woogis. There's still games from the original Woogi World on Newgrounds, but you need flash emulation to play them.
I remember Woogi World! I loved the different missions you could do.
Am I the only one that remembers being woken up late at night by The George Lopez Show?
Help me. I can't get it out of my head.I have been wanting to relive my life from the mid-2000s, the start of my high school years (though I don't know how many significant changes I could make without reality-warping powers), so I definitely do have my fair share of nostalgia about that time.
The nostalgia that stands out to me the most is the music video network Fuse, well before it went through so much Network Decay (including stopping showing videos completely) that some cable/satellite providers no longer include it. When it did show videos, it did show its fair share of hip hop and pop, but there was also quite a large focus on rock. It was largely on the emo/pop-punk side of things (with Green Day and My Chemical Romance videos being shown in heavy rotation), but that was amid the time that emo was the big trend.
I also miss the 2000s incarnation of Head Bangers Ball that aired Saturday nights (I think) on MTV 2, despite it turning into an In Name Only reboot of the original 80s show, because a mere two-hour block of metal videos was still preferable to no metal videos at all.

I've recently gotten into a lot of watching archived TRL. I was also a big nu metal head and constantly had the likes of Kerrang tv and Scuzz on as background noise in afternoons and late evenings.
Oh man, this thread.
When this thread was first launched I thought, please, 2000s will be never be nostalgic.
Well, apparently past me was a freaking idiot who never thought 2020s will come. XP
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Good ol' 2000s. I never got into them when I was younger (only did when I was an adult) but Bratz. I like them a ton now and have 2 of the anniversary 20 Yearz Rock Angelz dolls, and they're just like old dolls with limited posability and rubbery legs with the knees that sound like bones breaking every time you bend them. And speaking of old dolls, nothing is more nostalgic than the sound of their knees bending because they snap and it's so nice.
I don't know what I'm doing honestly and I'm sorry for all the dumb questions. Also, I had no idea I had an account until like 2020.Has anyone else ever heard of or used starfall.com?
I remember learning the alphabet on this website 15 years ago, before I started school.
Nice to see that it mostly looks just like how I remember it.

Are you afraid?I remember starfall. That site is the reason why I love dress up dolls.
Cosmic human watches over a certain Meme universe.I never used this site before, and I wanted to try the character creator cuz why not.
I gotta say, this is already extremely based for having a way better skintone range◊ than most character creators I've seen.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*Hoooo boy, Starfall - remember that from elementary school trips to the computer lab.
About a month ago, I discovered My 2000's TV and, let me tell you, it's a goldmine of nostalgia. Of particular note are TV ads for toys I remember owning, or at least wanting, as a kid. The MIO PUP jingle unlocked a memory I didn't realise was still floating in my brain.
"As long as I have my comrades with me, I can do anything!" (She/Her) (Current Focus: Cleaning Hell Is That Noise misuse)I loved the GameFAQs character battles(Before L-Block and Draven made them more unpredictable, that is. 🙄).

Oh hey, I'm old enough for this to be a thing now. Malcolm in the Middle is one of my favorite shows of the decade and it just has the 2000s vibe nailed, as well as being part of my childhood. Someone mentioned Bratz, and I just remember having a ton of fun with the PS 2 game.

Life is unfair...Watching the Paramount superbowl ad was joy. Some of my favourite things I watched throughout the 90s and 2000s, culminating in a performance from Creed
I miss times whne there was nothing on TV so I would switch over to a channel that just showed movie trailers.
oh jesus, i remember my sis always playing Rock Angels and always asking for my help because she didn't speak english. I remember being so freakin' annoyed at that back then, but now, we're just laughing everytime we remember that.
kid me always wondered why those PPV services for movies even existed when we could simply own them on VHS or DV Ds. Man, we took DV Ds for granted. Nowadays, owning physical copies has become even more important than ever.
Let’s reflect on favorite stuff from the 2000-2009 period. After all, the Eighties and Nineties can’t have all the fun.
