- Spider Wars (The Multiverse): Can you add Spider Man The Animated Series S 05 E 12 Spider Wars Part 1 as a media source?
- Spider-Man confronts Spider-Carnage (Talking the Monster to Death): Can you add Spider Man The Animated Series S 05 E 13 Spider Wars Part 2 as a media source?
~St Fan: Pretty sure there is no "waiting period". I have personally launched tropes and immediately added them to existing videos or uploaded new ones.
#4918: Not sure about Freudian Slip; I think the CEO is just stupid and blunt enough to outright say the building is phallic.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. Please remove Misanthrope Supreme as a secondary trope to the video "The Mad Hermit..." for The Hermit. Again, Misanthrope Supreme is about human characters who have a burning hatred for other humans, while the character in the video is an anthropomorphic duck who, to quote the description, "fires at every living creature he sees" (in the video, nonanthropomorphic animals and an unseen cameraman).
Trimming the hedges, one trope at a time.you forgot this request I made:https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=16096748880A32952300&page=197#comment-4917
I sent Bobs Burger S 7 E 2 Sea Me Now to the cutlist because it is a duplicate of the proper page Bob's Burgers S7E2 "Sea Me Now". All the videos need to have their media source corrected.
Please make the following edits:
- Add the secondary trope Anthropomorphic Food to the “Garfzilla” video from the Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever page. In the video, anthropomorphic lasagna can be seen living on an alien planet.
- Add the secondary trope Awful Truth to the “He’s still ALIVE?!” video from the Internal Reveal page. In the video, Kronk is ashamed that he has failed to kill Kuzco, so he lies that Kuzco is still alive. Yzma sees through his deception and gets angry at Kronk for failing to kill Kuzco. They are both left unhappy.
- Add the secondary trope Hurricane of Euphemisms to the “...by the way you’re fired.” video from the Firing Day page. In the video, Kuzco explains to Yzma that she’s being fired by saying “You’re being let go. Your department is being downsized. You’re part of an outplacement. We’re going in a different direction. We’re not picking up your option. Take your pick. I got more.”
- Add the secondary trope Last Request to the “The Green Goblin’s Last Stand” video from the Hyde Plays Jekyll page. In the video, the last thing the Green Goblin says to Spider-Man before he dies is “Don’t tell Harry.” (Within the clip, there may not be enough context to know what this means, but the viewer can tell that it’s a request.)
- Add the secondary trope Projectile Toast to the “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” video from the Animated Credits Opening page. In the video, the toaster launches its toast into the air, along with the shrunken boy.
- Add the secondary trope Stating the Simple Solution to the “Yzma” video from the Mad Scientist page. In the video, Yzma goes into detail about how she could kill Kuzco by turning him into a flea, putting him inside a box within a box, mailing that box to herself, then smashing it with a hammer. However, she decides to just poison him instead.
- Add the secondary tropes Uranus Is Showing and Air Guitar to the “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey” video from the God page. In the video, Bill compliments God on the great planets he’s created: Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus. Bill and Ted then chuckle and make guitar movements with their hands to draw attention to the joke as an alternative to a Rimshot.
- Add the secondary trope Offscreen Teleportation to the “Death” video from the The Grim Reaper page. In the video, Bill and Ted see the Grim Reaper in front of them. Their faces are shown when he disappears, and the spot where he used to be is shown when he reappears. Bill and Ted then turn around and see him behind them.
- Add the secondary trope Speak in Unison to the “The Devil” video from the Satan page. In the video, Ted asks Bill how they should get the Devil’s attention. Then they both say “Sign of the devil, dude!” at the same time.
Please remove the media source Recap.Rick And Morty S 2 E 9 Look Whos Purging from the Rick and Morty video for Can't Take Criticism and replace it with Recap.Rick And Morty S 2 E 9 Look Whos Purging Now.
Trimming the hedges, one trope at a time. Please make the following edits:
- Add the secondary trope A.I. Is a Crapshoot to the “Doris’ Endgame” video from the Bad Future page. In the video, the artificially intelligent Helping Hats turn on humanity.
- Add the secondary trope Deadly Training Area to the “Mario’s Obstacle Course” video from the Training Montage page. In the video, Princess Peach’s training course has a lot of dangerous obstacles including Bullet Bills and Piranha Plants.
- Add the secondary trope Dinosaurs Are Dragons to the “Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real” video from the Speculative Documentary page. In the video, dragons are depicted as a family of dinosaurs that survived The Day the Dinosaurs Died, kind of like a Terror-dactyl that breathes fire.
- Add the secondary trope *Drool* Hello to the “Frog Costume” video from the Trauma Button Ending page. In the video, the giant frog drools on Jackie, causing her to ask “Hey, is it raining in here?” Then she looks up and screams.
- Add the secondary trope Follow the Money to the “Blue baby yoshi” video from the Bubble Gun page. In the video, the player progresses through the level by collecting floating coins.
- Add the secondary trope Game Face to the “Dance Party of One” video from the Shirtless Scene page. In the video, Milo briefly shows his true face to the mirror, which has a gaping maw full of sharp teeth.
- Add the secondary trope Seasonal Baggage to the “Big Ball” video from the Overly Long Name page. In the video, the seasons change to imply that Mung Dall has taken a whole year to say the full name of the Big Ball sport.
- Add the following secondary tropes to the “The Emperor’s New Groove” video from the Zany Cartoon page:
- Speed Stripes: In the video, Yzma goes so fast that the background consists of nothing but blurry white and teal stripes.
- Offscreen Teleportation: In spite of the Speed Stripes, Tipo manages to get in front of Yzma and hit her with a beehive, then Chaca gets in front of Yzma and hits her with a pillow. They both look like they’ve been waiting there the whole time.
- Tar and Feathers: In a variation, a beehive full of honey is used instead of tar so that the feathers from the pillow stick to Yzma.
For the Ethereal Choir video, "The Last March of the Ents" (The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers), can you add Treants as a secondary trope? The creatures in the video match the trope.

To the Overly Long Gag video "Joker Laughing", please add Helpless with Laughter as a secondary trope, as per the Mass Effect 3 example in that page: "In the Citadel DLC, it's possible to find EDI trying and failing to sweet-talk Joker into dancing with her; Shepard, notoriously bad dancer, attempts to resolve the situation by offering to dance with her instead... whereupon Joker cracks up and goes on laughing for a full twenty seconds, unable to do anything but giggle helplessly at the idea."
Also, in the Helpless with Laughter video "Blinded By Politeness", please change the media source VideoGame.Henry Stickmin Collection to VideoGame.Henry Stickmin Series.

Trimming the hedges, one trope at a time. The "Brick" video from Minecraft: Story Mode should have its primary trope changed from Verbal Tic to the more specific Third-Person Person. No Celebrities Were Harmed should be added as a secondary trope (he's an homage to Morgan Freeman).

just call me Mathy | Sometimes I clean wicks on my Twitch streamThe recently uploaded video for Ghostbusters (1984) and its sequel Ghostbusters II which was tagged as Recycled Script should go under the more specific Same Plot Sequel.
Please move the video under VideoExamples. The Simpsons S 27 E 19 Fland Canycon to VideoExamples. The Simpsons S 27 E 19 Fland Canyon, as the former title was misspelled.
I submitted that video, and yeah that's definitely an even better fit. (I knew of the Same Plot Sequel trope but forgot about it.) Is it easier for the moderators to make the change or should I resubmit it or just add a secondary tag?
Video: Gul'dan (2016 film)
- Media Source Warcraft 2016
- Example Of: Complete Monster (while Gul'dan does qualify, I'm not sure if the clip in question provides an adequate example of him being a Complete Monster.)
- Recommended Secondary Tropes: Your Soul Is Mine!, Join or Die.
- Recommend Additional Media Sources: Warcraft
- Additional Notes: The video's description is lackluster; it doesn't exposit on the context of Gul'dan and Orgrim's conversation and instead focuses on Gul'dan draining the life force of a human prisoner, which (while syphoning off bits of it during the conversation) he doesn't actually do until the end of the almost 2 minute clip.
That's not a request, that's a review. If you're suggesting adding Your Soul Is Mine! and Join or Die, as mentioned in the pinned comment, elaborate how each of those apply. The clip is not from Warcraft, so it's not going to be added. If you want the description to be changed, you'll need to give a concrete suggestion.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup- "Change your name." (Throw It In!): Can you add Tom the Dark Lord as a secondary trope since Boingo didn't think Keith's was all that scary?
- Ice King's origins (Sanity Slippage) and Ice King's Origin (Apocalyptic Log) are the same videos though the former has better quality. Can you delete the latter and move Apocalyptic Log and one secondary trope (Was Once a Man) too to the former as secondary tropes?

I'd like to add in Despair Speech as a secondary trope for a video example from the history channel OverSimplified titled "The Romans Are Coming" that has Blunt "Yes" as a primary example. The reason for that, is because the Carthaginian leader is making a long speech to the Carthaginians about how they're all flawed and their civilization is at the brink of collapse from the Roman Republic.
Add Doctor Who S29 E1 "Smith and Jones" to "Doctor Who (2005)" on Bigger on the Inside as it comes from said episode.
In WesternAnimation.Teen Titans 2003, video "Raven vs. Trigon" for Calling the Old Man Out has description:
"Raven defeats her father, Trigon, with the most epic speech and beatdown. Azerath metrion zinthos!"
It only specifies that there is a speech, not that it's calling him out. Suggested new description:
"When Trigon claims that Raven only exists to serve him, Raven calls out how Trigon never acted like a father to her, calling out his failings between blasting him. She ends by declaring that her friends are far more of family to her. And with Trigon's defeat, the world is restored to how it was before he destroyed it."
Also suggesting secondary tropes: Family of Choice, Punctuated Pounding, and World-Healing Wave
"First time for everything!" for Super Move Portrait Attack: Please add Eyed Screen as a secondary example since Miis will get this sort of letterbox view the first time they utilize a skill or quirk.
The Empire Strikes Back video "Luke in Bacta Tank" under Undressing the Unconscious should also be under Healing Vat because the bacta tank is for healing. Also, the "Han Gets Frozen in Carbonite" under Taken for Granite should have Human Popsicle for a secondary trope because Han underwent carbon freezing.

#4943: Since Zany Cartoon is set to "index" (and this is the first video on The Emperor's New Groove so I can't edit it from there), I had to change it to "trope" so I could pull up the "Edit Videos" option, then change it back. Hopefully that doesn't mess anything up.
#4946: Can you explain how those tropes are shown in the video?
Edited by mightymewtron on May 6th 2024 at 1:56:26 PM
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.re: post 4949 Re: world-healing wave: sorry, I improperly described the restoration of the world. It's a wave of light traveling across the world, restoring everything as it passes. Amending requested description to account for this.
Re: family of choice, starting at 1:22 and ending around 1:33 in the video, she explains how the monks of Azarath and her friends are far more family to her. "I was protected by the monks of Azarath. I was raised by my friends. They are my family."
Re: punctuated pounding... okay, it's downplayed because she uses the blasts more as periods between full sentences than as punctuating every word, and because it's only the middle part of her calling him out, but 1:13-1:22 has her blasting him every few words.
New version "When Trigon claims that Raven only exists to serve him, Raven calls out how Trigon never acted like a father to her, calling out his failings between blasting him. She ends by declaring that her friends are far more of family to her. And with Trigon's defeat, a wave of light restores the world to how it was before he destroyed it."
