  • Name: Susie
  • Appearance: Left: Casual. Right: Night on the town.
  • Setting: Deltarune
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Monster: Susie is a monster made of magical dust, which makes her a fair bit tougher and stronger than a human would be. She doesn't bleed or bruise if injured, but she still feels pain.
    • Saurian: Being reptilian (jury's still out on whether she's a dinosaur or a wingless dragon) gives Susie some advantages: she's covered in sturdy scales, has claws and sharpened teeth, and has superhuman bite strength.
    • Devilsknife: A joker playing card, depicting a strange clown. By channeling her natural magic into it, it transforms into an edgy-looking hybrid between a scythe and an axe. Supernaturally sharp, and acts as a potent conduit for the Rude Buster. In the hands of anyone other than Susie, it turns back into a normal playing card. Radiates strange vibes; those who look at it get the impression of 'chaos'.
    • Rude Buster: By gathering magical energy, Susie can release it in a hadoken-style concussive energy blast.
  • Backstory: Humans and monsters lived in peace. Susie grew up in a small town, which seemed like it should have been idyllic. But her scary appearance made it hard to make friends, and so she learned to be alone. She learned that fear brought with it respect. And she made her own peace with it. Until, one day, she was paired up with a strange human named Kris on a school project. While getting chalk from a supply closet, they fell into another world. Surprisingly, that world was not Concordia - it was the Dark World, a place where hopes and dreams became real. Together, they defeated an evil King and made new friends. A little of Susie's edge was shaved off, and she found herself growing attached in a way she never had before. Though they'd learned of a threat to the world - a Knight who desired to drown the world in darkness - they'd also learned they had the power to stop said Knight. Catapulted from mean girl to legendary hero, Susie was happy.
    • Then, one day, Susie found what she thought was another portal to the Dark World. It was not. It was a portal to a place she later decided was probably hell.
  • Role In The City: Due to her anti-authoritarian nature, her above-human strength, and a general willingness to be gay and do crime, Susie is an up-and-comer in the Concordian underworld. Acts as muscle for Satsuki Kiryuin's militia, though also occasionally dabbles in mercenary work so long as it doesn't conflict with Satsuki's goals.
  • Other Things Of Note:
    • Theme song.
    • It's unclear if Deltarune monsters can absorb human souls to get stronger in the way Undertale monsters can, but for the sake of the RP I'm assuming they can't. Fewer awkward moral questions that way.
    • Susie has a short tail, which wags when she's happy. She keeps it hidden under her clothes and vehemently denies its existence.

  • Name: Teddie/Ted
  • Appearance: Casual wear Junes work uniform Whenever he feels like cross dressing.
  • Setting: Persona 4
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Mustard Bomb: Legit uses mustard bottles on the foes; however, the foes can evade them.
    • He also been practicing on fencing as of late, so expect him to battle with a sabre.
  • Backstory: After the events of Persona 4 and Yu went home, Teddie has been working at Junes and may or may not have been embarrassing Yosuke when finding something in his room once a while. One day, while working, Teddie decided to look at the TV sections. Feeling nostalgic, he decided to go back into the tv world as that's how he met Yu and the others. However, he didn't arrive to the tv world, but he somehow arrive to the city and there's no tv to go back home! Realizing that there's no way he'll be able to contact his friends about this, he decided to open up another Junes store and stay at one of the apartments until either his friends find him or he'll find a way home himself
  • Role In The City:
    • Full time Junes worker, part time fencing.
      • While he can be seen practicing on fencing, he can be also working at Junes as apartment bills isn't cheap. He even gives the robbers what they want with no hesitation as he knows for sure there's a way to go back home.
  • Other Things Of Note:
    • Teddie's theme
    • I'm aware that Teddie has a persona. But, for the sake of making sure the powers doesn't go too powerful, I'm assuming that the city isn't the same as the TV world since there's no point for him to even summon his persona in this world.

  • Name: Vivy, Model No. A-035624
  • Appearance: As her world's first autonomous humanoid AI, Vivy's appearance is more human-like than the standard A.I.s of her early life. However, she has a light indicator (a triangle within a circle) on the left side of her neck as all A.I.s of her homeworld do.

Vivy sports the appearance of a tall young woman with reflective porcelain skin, long azure hair, and eyes of the same shade. Her hair appears to be thick in volume and is unkempt, being uneven in length all around. Her middle bangs overlap each other and reach around her nose area, while her right bangs are more voluminous than her left bangs. Her almond-shaped eyes have a unique glow to them, similar to glistening ocean water. Furthermore, despite the human-like appearance of her eyes, it is possible upon closer inspection to discern the multiple lenses that make up her eye.

This is Vivy's default attire. However, her outfit may change depending on her environment or assignment.
  • Setting: Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • 22nd Century Combat Program: Renders Vivy an expert acrobat and combatant, both in CQC and in a variety of 22nd Century Earth weaponry, though she prefers to simply use her limbs as weapons. Arcs of electricity dance about her person when she activates the program (manually, or automatically when she registers danger), probably due to overclocking or an excessive amount of energy being delivered to her limbs, as her body was designed for singing and performances, not for combat. As you might expect, when large amounts of energy are delivered to her limbs, her speed and strength are enhanced accordingly. Also allows her to predict the moves of combatants a few tenths of a second into the future.
    • Robot: Vivy does not tire, or require sleep or sustenence aside from regualarly charging her battery via the long USB cable concealed in her earring. She can connect and mentally interface with wired devices via her USB cable, can transfer and receive data through surface-to-surface interfaces via her forehead, and with wireless devices via other inbuilt means. She can see across a broad range of the EM spectrum and has telescopic vision (her eyes are cameras). She learns and processes information much quicker than a human being, and since she can just run a query against her memory banks whenever she wants to remember something, she has effectively perfect recall. Although she was designed as a singing robot, Vivy's specs are top of the line for that purpose, boasting speed and strength rivaling the best human athletes, and impressive durability allowing her to continue functioning even after suffering large amounts of damage.
    • Singing Idol AI: With 100 years of experience in her mission of "make everyone happy by singing with all my heart", Vivy is an expert in musical performances for audiences large and small. She can dance any routine flawlessly after planning it out beforehand or seeing it perormed only once, and used to be able to sing any one of a library of millions of songs. She has also grown beyond her programming and managed to compose a song of her own making, not because she was ordered to, but because she wanted to. Currently, however, she is unable to bring herself to sing due to a mental block, and is unsure if she is still able to. Although she cannot sing, she is not completely useless, being good with families and children and able to complete menial tasks, not to mention her combat abilities.
  • Backstory: In the year 2161, on an Earth where Artificial Intelligences had long lived alongside humanity, the DisNiaLand amusement park descended into chaos and bloodshed as A.I.s rampaged through the streets and attractions with smiles on their faces, ruthlessly murdering any humans they came across. Not just NiaLand, but the entire world had been overtaken by a massive A.I. rebellion at precisely the same moment, and within minutes, ten thousand humans were dead. Determined to avert this terrible future, an aging A.I. researcher enacted a desperate plan, using a time machine in his final moments to send data one hundred years into the past within the code of the world's first fully autonomous A.I., a musical robot named "Diva" whose original mission was "to make everyone happy by singing with all her heart".

In the year 2061, Diva ended her latest performance on a small stage at NiaLand to an audience of three, then went backstage to talk with her only human friend, a young girl named Momoka, who after their first meeting had christened the songstress "Vivy" after a picture-book character she resembled. Giving the A.I. an early birthday present in the form of a high-tech stuffed bear, Momoka secured a promise from Vivy that she would one day sing on NiaLand's Main Stage. Her friend departing, Vivy steped back onto the stage to sing to an empty audience... and then packets of data from the future hit her.

Taking on the name of his developer, "Matsumoto", the A.I. program from the future inhabited Vivy's new stuffed bear and, in spite of her protests, enlisted her in "the Singularity Project", his mission to covertly change history and avert the coming war between humans and A.I.s, a mission she was dragged into whether she liked it or not. They had a number of adventures in the ensuing 100 years, but near the end of their journey fell into the Ship, where they eventually joined up with Doctor Otto Octavius and have been leading their lives in search of redemption ever since.
  • Role In The City: Works for Doctor Otto Octavius alongside Matsumoto; exact position TBD.
  • Other Things Of Note: Has blue coolant for blood.

  • Name: "Matsumoto Cubeman"
  • Appearance: Cube overview; cube expressions; proportionate size of one cube; tripod mode; (warning: sound) hoverbike/jet mode
  • Setting: Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • 22nd Century AI Program: Since he is technically a program and not specifically a robot, Matsumoto can inhabit whatever computer he chooses, provided it has the capacity to house an AI. His ability to process and calculate information is exceedingly high, and he can even split his processing power between multiple bodies if they are within range of one another, though there is an upper limit and this would mean his processing potential diminishes proportionately while doing so. He possesses a detailed timeline of prominent events from his homeworld as well as knowledge on how to create and repair various types of robots and A.I.s from his homeworld. He is also exceedingly skilled in electronic warfare, hacking, and computer security.
    • Cube Body: Matsumoto's main body is made up of 125 identical cubes. Unless he is ferrying someone somewhere or needs to be prepared for combat, he generally makes do with moving about as just one of these cubes. Each cube comes equipped with wireless capabilities and eight USB cables which he can extend outward from his corners like prehensile limbs, and concealed behind circular shutters on the faces are two mechanical arms with three digits each, two camera eyes able to see both across a broad range of the EM spectrum and telescopically, and two hoverjets. A single cube's jets can generate enough lift to just barely carry an object of Vivy's weight. The exterior of the cubes is quite durable, able to withstand explosives (although sufficient force will knock them offline), but a blow piercing the interior (such as through an open face) will easily destroy one. The two most common configurations utilizing all 125 cubes are:
      • Tripod Mode: See Appearance. Capable of stopping a head-on speeding car while straining, and of crushing objects by jumping on them using its combined weight.
      • Hoverbike/Jet Mode: See Appearance. Able to easily carry the weight of two people (can be slightly reconfigured to allow for a second passenger) and move at great speeds through the air using its hoverjets as thrusters. Can be piloted by a passenger or by Matsumoto himself. Its hoverjets can be made to burn with additional intensity in bursts to accelerate quickly or to attack by superheating objects in its wake.
  • Backstory: Same as Vivy.
  • Role In The City: Works for Doctor Otto Octavius alongside Vivy; exact position TBD.
  • Other Things Of Note:

  • Name: Zima

  • Appearance: “There’s nothing you can’t solve with an Ursus at your side. If there is, just find two.”

    • A girl in her late teens, 162cm tall with blue eyes, magenta-streaked brown hair, and rounded bear-like ears. She wears a school uniform augmented with combat boots and a big fur-collared jacket. She has a torn strip of red cloth tied around one arm.
  • Setting: Arknights

  • Powers/Abilities:

    • Ursus physique – Ursus are famous for their bear-like power. Zima’s strength, speed and constitution are significantly higher than those of a human her age and size.
  • Backstory:
    • Zima grew up in the nomadic city of Chernobog, a citizen of the Ursus Empire. By the time she reached middle school she had become the leader of one of Chernobog’s many popular student gangs, where the youth of the city spent their days drinking, partying and fighting.
    • Unfortunately, these were the last days of the mighty city. Paralysed by sabotage and a terrorist uprising, Chernobog ground to a halt in the path of a Catastrophe – a storm of fire and rock that pummelled the massive vehicle even as a pitched battle spread through the streets.
    • Motivated by revenge and anger, some of the rebels corralled the city’s children into school campuses and locked them in, sitting back to watch as the students fell into a vicious battle for survival. Zima doesn’t talk about what happened during those days.
    • Eventually, through her penchant for violence, natural leadership qualities, and sheer grit, Zima rallied together a few surviving students and led them out of the city. By the time the survivors were picked up by the humanitarian company Rhodes Island, the survivors had declared themselves the Ursus Independent Student Union, with Zima as their captain.
    • Naturally, being sucked into another universe was not a welcome development, but the skills she learned in Rhodes Island and her natural tenacity have been serving her well in the slums of concordia.

  • Role In The City: Street tough in Zone 5 and 6. After going through the system a few times, she recently got a job as a bouncer in Witch’s bar.
  • Other Things Of Note:
    • Zima (‘Winter’) is a nickname. Her real name is Sonya, but she rarely goes by that anymore.
    • She may seem like a brute, but she is actually an avid reader with a broad taste in literature.
    • Her two most cherished possessions from her home are an axe, and a music player. The former is mostly for intimidation purposes these days. The latter is getting harder to keep charged.

  • Name: Crowe Burst
  • Appearance: Here you go
  • Setting: Super Robot Wars
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Military Training: Thanks to his former training, Crowe is in pretty good physical condition. Nothing super human, or even that special compared to others from the military, he is still pretty physically fit. he is also experienced with a variety of modern weaponry and self defense techniques.
    • Sniping: The one field Crowe excelled in was long distance shooting. Whether on foot or in a mech, Crowe is a good shot. He can his a fast moving target, a target while he is moving fast, and both combined.
    • Mecha Piloting: The bulk of Crowe's military service, and most of his life after, has been spent in the cockpit of a bipedal mecha. He is quite adept an maneuverability and can bring out quite a bit of mobility in any agile machine. He also has a good degree of mechanical skill, at least enough to provide maintenance for his own machines.
    • Sphere of the Swaying Scales: In the course of his employ for Axion, it was revealed that his mech was powered by something known as a Sphere. A Sphere can me thought of as a fragment of the god of the universe before the current one after it committed suicide. There are 12 in total and each aligns with a symbol of the zodiac. Once a Sphere finds a user that it aligns with, it will grant that person power with a catch and a trigger. The trigger for Crowe's Sphere is intense focus. Once Crowe focuses entirely on something, his Sphere will give a boost to his capabilities. It is like a supernatural version of being 'in the zone'. The downside is that once the Sphere activates, Crowe becomes completely locked in on his focus, unable to even think of anything else. The only things known to break him out of it is completing his objective or the sound of coins hitting the floor..
  • Backstory:
    • Born to an unlucky gambler in the heart of the Empire of Britannia. Crowe entered military service in an attempt to help shoulder his father's debts. He was a skilled enough pilot to find himself assigned to the elite Firebug Squadron. They were the squadron to take care of the nastier portions of warfare and were named for their generous use of flame in their 'clean up' operations. Of particular note was the cruel nature of their commanding officer.
    • Crowe grew so disillusioned with his service that he deserted and started wandering to try and keep a low profile. It was not long into his journey when he was informed of his father's passing, and the mountain of debt that now landed on his shoulders. He took it in stride though, choosing to take on the debt rather that disown the father that raised him. Luckily he found himself in the employ of Axion Laboratories, piloting their prototype mech and finding himself embroiled in not only massive political conflicts but facing down interdimensional threats.
  • Role In The City: Crowe has found himself in the employ of Satsuki's militia in Zone 5 as a marksman. While hes not exactly zealous in her mission, he does find her drive interesting enough to stick around.
  • Other Things Of Note:
    • Has an almost super natural ability to detect money. He can differentiate the sound of cent coins hitting the ground to any other coins.
    • Crowe has a mild case of gynophobia.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to sign up! I noticed that you framed most of your character's abilities in the form of DnD mechanics, but it'd be a bit difficult to translate those to RP terms without further description. If you want to know how we generally do that for tabletop games, please see this and this.

The formatting could also use some work. Are you new to the forums? If so, you can indent lists with * at the beginning of paragraphs, and it generally takes two Enter key presses after a paragraph to separate them out.

I would also appreciate more detail in the Personality section, if possible. Thanks for your time!

Character number three baybeee

  • Name: Blair
  • Appearance: Areum Two, apparently.
  • Setting: Original
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Giant: As tall as Areum, but without that award winning haircut. In all seriousness, this comes with the actually relevant gameplay factor of super strength and a hearty constitution, which is why this is here.
    • Magic: Blair has a great deal of magical knowledge in general, though she specializes in elemental magic.
      • Fire: Whether it takes the form of powerful exploding fireballs or constant jets of flames, this is the most straightforwardly destructive element at her disposal. She can also empower her limbs with Fire to give the impact of her melee strikes more of a “kaboom”.
      • Lightning: Allows her to strike things with electricity from a distance. Can also cover her body in an electric current to get people off of her.
      • Ice: Can summon localized blizzards, fire sharp icicles around her, and create thick sheets of ice to block attacks. She can technically make water too since that’s just melted ice, but she doesn’t use that as frequently.
      • Wind: Can create destructive gales to blow things away, or take the form of sharp Razor Wind. She can even use this to fly by manipulating the air.
    • Immortality: Blair once got her hands on a very powerful magic crystal, and as a result cannot die. She is impervious to poisons, diseases, and can regenerate from even fatal injuries in a day or so.
    • Potion making: With the right ingredients, Blair can make a variety of magical concoctions. She specializes in healing potions and potions that cure common maladies, as those are the most commonly purchased ones.
    • Aura of Terror: For lack of a better term, Blair gives off enough bad vibes that it’s an honest to goodness superpower. Normal animals act very docile and frightened around her, and will never bring harm to her. Intelligent animals and humans are not affected nearly as severely, but those who are more lacking in courage will naturally have a more difficult time with their intimidation saves, in Gamer™ terms. Or if you’re a cool dude you can ignore this entirely, of course.
  • Backstory:
    • Born into a family of witches and wizards, magic was always an important part of Blair’s life. Her mother owned a magical conglomerate known as Bitchcraft (her mom was incredibly gaudy and an unironic believer in the girlboss aesthetic), and her elder sister was in line to be heir to the company after her passing. She wasn’t exactly enthused about this - within the hypercapitalist hellscape she grew up in, large corporations were not simply a vehicle by which to obtain riches, the truly significant ones had the power to form their own private armies and write laws within their territories. This was not simply someone else gaining the keys to the family business, but tangible political power as well.
    • Being highly ambitious and unmoored from moral restraints even in her youth, Blair began scheming a way to make sure that it would be her that inherited her mother’s fortune and company. Through her devious machinations, she ended up killing her sister, successfully framing an innocent man for the deed, and slowly chipping away at her mother’s mind with brainwashing potions disguised as health remedies until she amended his will to name her as her successor. Also she renamed the company after herself, which is a tragedy because it had such a good name before.
    • Once he was out of the picture she was free to do basically whatever she wanted. Her tenure saw record profits, though most of it went back to her in the form of CEO bonuses. Her treatment of her employees could hardly be called commendable, but none of them really had any better options, so she didn’t have to worry about them quitting and that was good enough for her.
    • Eventually, an interesting little thing happened . Magical stones called the Chintamani were discovered deep underground, and it quickly became the talk of the town. They were able to do a great many things - provide for the poor in abundance, cure a myriad of diseases, make you immortal, you name it. For Blair and the rest of her ilk, it was an opportunity. Something like this would
    • Given that the people fighting over the Chintamani were kind of huge assholes who had a hard time agreeing on basically anything, this led to a war breaking out instead of anyone deciding that maybe everyone could have their share of it, with Blair being a major player in this. She and various corps wrangled their mercenary armies together and turned the land into a bloodbath killing not only each other but also civilians who were getting too close to the fabled treasure. By the end of things, most of the Chintamani were blown up during all the chaos, meaning very few people were going to be able to reap the benefits of this stuff. But some twisted stroke of anti-karma, the people actually responsible for this war - Blair included - ended up with a decent chunk of the stuff. It was starting to look like a small group of very powerful immortals were going to rule over the rest of the world, not unlike the power structure of Concordia itself.
    • This didn’t happen. All across the continent, large scale natural disasters started happening one after the other with seemingly no explanation. As it turned out, the Chintamani served an important function for the balance of the world, and blowing them up was a really shitty idea. All attempts at establishing any coherent government - even a shitty fash one - fell flat as more and more failed states kept popping up and it became clear they weren’t equipped to handle this.
    • The transition over to Concordia served as a step back into normalcy. She managed to start a highly successful business and obtained an impressive coffer of riches, but now she had people who were clearly above her - the Diet. No longer the top dog, she would have to learn to live with this absurd cast of characters and her new place in it.
  • Role In The City: Blair is a magical researcher who runs her own business, in which she sells all manner of spellbooks, magitek, magical trinkets, or what have you. She has achieved enough success with this to establish herself as part of Concordia’s upper class, and represents the vices and corruption you’d expect from Concordia’s wealthy elite. Among the mages in Concordia, she is considered to be highly competent but cold and difficult to approach.
  • Other Things Of Note:
    • Blair is not a good person, but she isn’t going to be hacking up children into pieces to use as potion ingredients in broad daylight or anything. This probably doesn’t really need specifying, but given that she’s a “villain” character in a collaborative RP (insofar as that term even has meaning in a setting with a cast as morally all over the place as TMC’s), I feel a need to differentiate morally deficient from “I’m going to randomly kill people like The Jokester from Bartman”. She’s calculating enough to stay in the good graces of polite society/the Diet.

@Chibi-Robo: Hi there, thanks for your interest again. I've looked over your signup, and after discussing it with the other players, there's a general consensus that Panty doesn't seem to be a good fit for the tone of this RP. There's also been real concerns with overtly sexual content on this forum, after certain past events, so in the future I would advise you to refrain from describing your character in such terms as 'whore' and 'slut', at least in the signup thread. Sex worker characters are also very difficult to write in an RP, especially one with younger people in it. It's going to be a pass from me, better luck elsewhere.

  • Personality: A hard-working perfectionist who's brief with her words but harbours an intense curiosity, particularly when it comes to understanding how things work. Under her cool exterior lies a secret romantic and a genuinely kind heart. She's spent most of her life passively dealing with problems, but is learning to be more direct with what she thinks and more frank with what she wants.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Pull Yourself Together: So long as her brain remains intact, J.J. Macfield cannot die. Mutilation, amputation, electrocution, bludgeoning, burning, etc. will maim but not kill her. At J.J.'s command, and in the blink of an eye, any injuries will fix themselves and any lost body parts will dissolve and regrow back out of her body.
    • Tear Yourself Apart: While separated from the main body, J.J.'s body parts retain their use- her hand can still move after being severed from her wrist, her eye can still see after being plucked from her skull, etc. Because of this, it can be favourable for her to lose a part or two, and J.J. has the strength to pull apart her flesh and bones to achieve just that (this is a localised strength, and she's otherwise no more powerful than a healthy college girl). Of particular note, her head is capable of rolling and hopping around to a degree that would probably be impossible for any other decapitated cranium.
    • Find Your Footing: While her neck is snapped, J.J. has the curious ability to "drop" herself upwards, ignoring all rules of gravity to throw herself up to the ceiling or beyond. This effect is cancelled the second that her neck is fixed, but otherwise she can walk across ceilings without hindrance (well, besides the broken neck).
    • Nurture Your Spark: J.J.'s body has a strangely combustible property that not only allows it to catch on fire easily, but to maintain an eternal flame until J.J. is either doused in water or she "fixes" the flame in the same manner that she fixes her body.
  • Backstory: J.J. is a young woman with a very big secret kept very close to her chest. When that secret became victim to prying eyes, her life as an industrial design student in sleepy little Maine was stripped away by harassment, abuse, and bigotry, until the night that J.J. couldn't take it anymore and attempted to end what life she had left.
At the precipice of death, J.J. found herself drifting off to the Island of Memories, where macabre puzzles and a relentless hunter awaited. With a new body that could cheat death and tear itself into pieces, J.J. traversed the island in pursuit of the memory of her dearest friend... and, upon finding her, also rekindled her desire to live.
While recovering from her attempted suicide, and the mental trauma of the Island of Memories, J.J. once again found herself transported to a reality unlike anything she'd seen before... and yet, curiously, she has once again been transformed into her death-defying body from the Island. Is there still a lesson for J.J. to learn? She's none too happy about it, but nevertheless she seeks the answer.
  • Role In The City: Upon first arriving in the city, J.J. found herself a job as an investigative reporter for the Concordia Concordance, which she holds to this day. However, her growing disenchantment towards the Diet- between forced sanitisation of potentially anti-Diet reportings and the general state of the outer zones- led to her seeking work as a craftperson (under the moniker "FK") outside of Guild purview- which, in turn, has offered her connections in the black market which she uses to gather information for her day job.

  • Name: Seija Kijin
  • Appearance: Like this. She's not very tall.
  • Setting: Touhou Project
  • Abilities:
    • Flight. I promised myself that I'd sooner cut off my fingers at the second joint than I'd ever write another description for Touhous' flight abilities.
    • She can flip objects to any orientation via some kind of weird telekinesis. They can't be rooted to the ground or otherwise attached to something, but given she was able to flip a whole-ass floating Japanese castle upside down her upper limit is irrelevantly large. Objects flipped in this way can be kept hovering in the air briefly (if they don't have means of mid-air propulsion), and by repeatedly flipping them, she can keep them there for much longer. Also, presumably, this is very nauseating, and getting dropped on your head isn't very fun.
    • Miracle Mallet (Real): a small and ornate hammer which can make objects larger temporarily, converts airborne objects into gold coins when waved in front of her, and has the power to grant the user's wishes. These abilities are all running off a shared power source which takes a very long time to recharge (at the very least a year) when depleted; wish granting of anything more than the most trivial level would instantly deplete its reserves. The remaining magic after several years of regular usage has left it with only enough juice for a minor wish, something that's clearly impossible but couldn't change the fabric of the whole Ship or its society.
    • She's a Youkai™, so she's unable to age, can survive a little more damage than the average human, and can heal from wounds in the matter of days instead of weeks to months. However, she is weak to magic and especially weak to holy/sanctified/whatever weaponry, which can deal with her very quickly.
  • Backstory: She was an asshole and caused a lot of problems for everyone and then she died after getting vibe checked super-hard by her entire setting
    • ...and then, in death, she was recruited by The Agency. That's right baby, that shit's canon now too! Yee-haw! Unwillingly drafted into a multiversal historical correction firm, she was trained and worked for a brief period under their watchful - and controlling - guidance. Since they presented themselves as an authority on how history should unfold, she grew to be a bit of a problem, and was just about to be terminated before she ended up in a fascist nightmare.
  • Role In The City: !!ANARCHY!! She exists to topple everything above her and act as a general contrarian, so for the brief time (maybe a month or a few) she's been in Concordia, she has been slowly trying to worm her way into whatever counter-culture and resistance groups exist. Probably only accepted by any of these groups on the basis of her looking like a spirited and stupid young adult, which such organizations tend to find very useful.
  • Other Things Of Note: Sometimes just hangs out upside down because she's cool like that.

  • Name: Kanase Teto
  • Appearance: Casual wear/Work uniform Idol wear Chimera form
  • Setting: Utau and/or Project Diva
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Chimera
      • She does have a chimera form. She can breathe fire with her mouth to attack her enemies, or just do a simple magic trick. She is completely aware of her form and decided to not confirm the rumors of her being a Chimera cause reputation-wise.
    • Twin literal drills
      • Her twin drills literally drill as it can be useful for escaping, repairing anything that needs a drill, and maybe mining.
    • Singing
      • Technailly counts as an ability cause it usually makes the enemies fall asleep in a Jigglypuff way.
  • Backstory: Following the popularity of Hatsune Miku, not to be confused with Mikudayo, the Vip News Bulletin@2ch users, commonly known as Vippers, decided to be funny with a "new VOCALOID release" as an April Fool's joke. Naturally, everyone was fooled. However, one of the Vippers decided to actually at least create Kanase Teto instead of throwing her away as a "one-time joke" for April Fool's day. As soon as Teto was created, the rest of the Vippers thought of her as something to burn as the April Fool's day comes to a close instead of something for her to actually sing. As she was burning in the pile of destroying everything related to Teto, her "final words" is that she wants to sing as well as everything goes black in her end...until she wakes in the hospital in the city, realizing that this isn't her home and needs to get back to her creator.
  • Role In The City:
    • Donki Part-timer, Internet Idol full time
      • Due to hospital bills being not cheap, and the fact that websites to upload videos are now paid less than the golden days, she decided to get a part-time job at Donki cause why not. She decided to be an Internet Idol whenever she's not at Donki and has free time.
  • Other Things Of Note:
    • Always Teto's theme
    • For the backstory section, I took some inspiration from Fake Diva, which is a parody song of Daughter of Evil by Mothy, hence why she was in the hospital cause of some burns from the fire.
    • She just arrive in the city, so she's new to these parts and is pretty much a country pumpkin.
    • Also, her unconscious body with burn degrees can be located in the hospital or somewhere else.

Name: Alex Mercer, codename "Zeus", aka "The Prototype"

Appearance: Normal, for certain definitions of normal. Yes, he's wearing a jacket over his hoodie, why do you ask? Close up shot. Armored up.

Setting: Prototype

Powers/Abilities: An ordinary human who won the superpower lottery, Mercer is exceptionally physically robust, capable of incredible superhuman feats of strength, agility, endurance and SCIENCE!

  • Walking Virus: Mercer is a miraculous (read: terrifying) new life form, functionally a fleshy bag of viral tissue able to reform and restructure itself as his needs suit him. If he gets shot to shit, dismembered or blown to bits, he just oozes himself back into shape and keeps going. Since any part of him can take over for destroyed vital organs, the only way to actually kill him is to destroy him down to the last cell. Because Mercer is a smart cookie, his viral mass can also quickly adapt to new threats as he identifies them.
  • Superhuman, Well, Everything: Mercer is stupid fucking fast (~70mph, maybe up to 150mph top speed), can leap dozens of feet into the air from standing, pick up and throw tanks high into the air, punch down steel doors, and climb buildings better than Spider-Man. He doesn't give a shit about being frozen, getting set on fire or electrocuted and once regenerated from getting literally nuked. His reflexes won't make The Flash jealous, but anyone short of that might have trouble keeping up. He can also see into the infrared spectrum and shift his internal mass to redirect his body in mid-air.
  • Shapeshifting: As an extension of his existence as a bag of viral goo, Mercer can transform his appearance to look like others as well as turn his limbs and body into weapons. Typically he needs to have eaten someone to take on their appearance, but theoretically with enough reference material he could mimic someone without first eating them. This includes:
    • Blades and Whips and Shit: Turning his hands into razor sharp forearm-length claws; Turning his entire arm into a massive slicing blade, or a segmented bladed extending whip-spike; Turning his entire arm into a massive, dense shield; Turning both arms into fuck-off bludgeons; And turning his entire body into living armor. Most of his "weaponized" flesh takes on a dark grey color with red accents.
  • Biomass Assimilation: Mercer doesn't "eat" or "drink" like normal humans anymore, and can slurp up functionally any organic material on contact if he so chooses, although doing this to living creatures usually requires him overpowering them. Blow him up enough and he needs to soak up more biomass to offset the lost tissue, and the more biomass he contains the denser he becomes until reaching critical mass, at which point he can violently expel biomass in the form of projectiles.
  • Pretty Good at Kung Fu: Before becoming a freak of nature, Mercer was an avid martial arts enthusiast. He can go toe to toe in unarmed combat with relatively skilled individuals, but in a test of technique can't hold up against proper masters. This tends to not matter anymore given Mercer is now strong enough to turn the average human into pink mist with a single punch.
  • Not a Dumbass: Mercer has a doctorate in genetics and has done plenty of hands-on research with biological and viral samples. He purty smrt in what comes to fleshy stuff, as long as you don't need him to put someone back together when he's done with them. He's a researcher, not a surgeon.

Backstory: Long story short, Alex Mercer had a really shit childhood. His pops died shortly after he was born and his alcoholic mom spent nine of the first ten years of his life in prison. He excelled in school despite his poor upbringing, eventually got a doctorate in genetics and landed a job at Gentek. Assigned to a viral research team under the guise of researching cures for all that ails humanity (actually a bioweapon project, surprise surprise), Mercer and his team eventually realized that the last viral sample they were given was horrifically, unbelievably lethal, and suspected something was up. Mercer kept working anyway because he thought it was super sick and morals are for sissies, but eventually Blackwatch, a national containment organization, caught wind of the research and started offing former staff on the team. When they finally came for him, he released a sample of the virus, codename Blacklight, as they killed him. The virus bonded with his corpse and revived as a new organism, not realizing until much later that the "real" Alex Mercer was well and truly dead. A bunch of crazy shit happened that culminates in Mercer flying a nuke over the ocean in a chopper and getting blown the fuck up, then walking it off after washing up on the shore.

Personality: Still taking the name of Alex Mercer even knowing that he's dead, Mercer is an unusual individual. Something of a sociopath, but like most high-functioning sociopaths Mercer understands societal contracts and does his best to avoid appearing as a threat needlessly. As such, while casualties don't bother him personally, he attempts to avoid them where convenient to not raise suspicion. Now that the global threat of Blacklight has been eradicated, he can focus on smaller matters instead of leveling city blocks and murdering psychotic PM Cs.

Mercer can be somewhat gruff and distant, but is typically affable and good enough at getting along with others assuming they're not put off by his occasionally merciless outlook on life. Absolutely hates putting on a face for PR purposes.

Role In The City: Managed to buy a seat on the Diet and acts as the formal head of public health in Concordia. He frequently works with the Draughtsmen and Ship Scientists' Guilds to review any new biological material brought into the ship, both for personal curiosity and for threat assessment. Unlike the general reputation for most of the Diet, Mercer takes his role rather seriously. After all, Mercer considers himself a symbiote rather than a parasite, and considers it his duty to see to it that his new "host" continues to thrive, although the average person might sometimes take offense to the particulars of Mercer's plans in that regard. Given the tenuous political situation in the City, Mercer has had to abandon many of his prior "hands-on" problem solving methods due to the tendency for collateral damage, but is still quite capable when it comes to defending Concordia.

Other Things Of Note:

  • It's assumed he helped create a vaccine for his horrible murder-cancer shortly after arriving in the City, so no concerns of an outbreak.

  • Very few people likely know his true nature as a living virus, instead considering him some form of heavily mutated human.

  • "He" is technically sexless and capable of taking on whatever form he chooses, but maintains a largely masculine personality and rides around using Mercer's appearance, mostly out of habit since it took him a hot minute to find out he wasn't actually Alex Mercer.

  • Due to his shapeshifting ability, his "clothes" are technically part of his body, and he can shapeshift his "outfit" at will. He's picked up the habit of buying clothes to use as inspiration for his appearance, but never actually wears them.

  • Functionally a transhumanist, but unlike his portrayal in the sequel, stops short of pushing this growth onto others.
