"Ghoul School" RPG

Seeing as it was time to start, John snapped his fingers, his robot joining up with him and acting as a bodyguard. John had issued a command for it to not draw any blood, as to not violate the rules that Geode had set.

"Help me with this magic barrier!" He commanded to his robot, punching it with his prosthetic hand, trying to break it through sheer force. He hopes his robot would do the same.

The robot swung in tandem, both of its metal fists slamming down in unison with its master's fist.

There is a tinkling sound, like impossibly thin glass breaking, and the shield dissolves into a brief shower of sparkling light.

Basil staggered, his head ringing, hemocyanin leaking from his torn flesh. He looked up to see that John had joined the fray along with his automaton. This was not projecting a good outcome for the villager's side. He gradually rose to his feet "Ophelia, now that we have the miscreant imprisoned, open a small area around his abdomen. Precious, you attempt to lure the construct into some form of snare, it likely lacks the intelligence to avoid such hazards"

"You" he said, pointing at Kent "Your support was invaluable, the other may have done far more damage had you not intervened. Once Ophelia creates the aperture, proceed to strike his abdomen until he is disabled. This will then allow us to concentrate our efforts upon John and his construct. Do not dally, for the barrier encircling his person will likely soon be destroyed in it's entirety"

He began to walk, but as he did so his legs buckled under their own weight and he fell to the ground once more. He didn't think he would be able to expend much more effort, every nerve in his body was indicating as much.

Lark runs up to Basil.

“Oh god...are you ok? Do you need the nurse?”

Precious crept around the outskirts of the fight, hoping to keep out of the conflict altogether. Fortuitously, she was quite soft-treaded by nature, and her opponents seemed to have more to worry about than her movements. Less fortuitously, she'd struggled to find much in the way of useful material for trap-making (a subject which she had looked into after receiving the ill-considered gift of a copy of The Lord of the Flies for the second anniversary of her creation). Still, she'd found a pitchfork, which she'd taken as a means of defense, and enough to manage something.

She huffed to herself at Basil's orders - it was quite presumptuous of him to order her around like a common servant. Still, the idea was a good one, with some modification.

Precious crept toward the citizen her team was meant to menace, attempting to determine the most likely approach for robot or invisible vampire alike. Then, she set to work on a trap.

Time to play bait.

Noticing Lark, Basil once more made his way back to his feet. He had clearly chosen to prioritize the well-being of his fellow student over an easy victory, that was most consistent with moral behavior. "I will most probably require the attention of medical personnel. Your aid is most necessary"

Though his demeanor was the same dispassion that it always was, Basil was very much aware of his poor condition. He would have to pay a visit to the nurse for the second time that day. If today was an accurate representation, he would be well acquainted with it by the end of the year.

“C’mon, let’s get you some help.”

Lark walks out of the arena, Basil in hands. He runs to the nurses office, and eventually makes it.

“Umm....Mx. Nurse? A student beat up another student, and I think this student needs medical attention.”

As Kent pushed back against Daniel, he noticed a strange barely perceptive barrier form around the guy. He removes his hands from the kid slowly, "You need to calm down, friend. It's only an exercise." Kent turned to notice Basil, of the opposing team, approach him commending him. Briefly confused, Kent turns to notice his teammates' injuries. A tinge of guilt comes over him as he thinks of how he failed to stop this from happening.

He listens closely to what Basil says, a bit reluctant to continue striking the restrained Daniel, but figures it might be for the best if he won't stop. He attempts to grab Daniels shoulders to hold him in place using his enhanced strength. "I don't want to hurt you, stand down. The fight's already over." Kent wants to give him a chance to end the fight peacefully and he sincerely hopes he takes that opportunity.

JEB stop Lark at the edge of the simulated town. "Mr. Basil can leave as a defeated combatant. If you leave, however, I will have to grade it as a healthy combatant choosing to flee combat. Also, you will not be allowed to reenter the arena until the current match is over."

Pat is busy mopping the first hallway you enter. Seeing Basil, Pat quickly leads the way to Nurse Hello's office.

When she sees Basil, her eyes go wide. "Oh, my, not again!" She helps Basil back into the tank, then adds a test-tube of blue-black liquid to the water. She doesn't seem to mind the fact that her starched white outfit gets wet as she lowers Basil into the water, turning the thin material translucent and revealing the lacy black bra and her D-Cup sized breasts.

"You should be fine after 6 hours of rest." (10% healed per hour)

Bumping.

Daniel growls like a caged animal, which he kind of is at the moment. However, after a moment, he smirks. "Y'know, this was actually pretty smart..." He chuckles and sighs. "I mean, I guess there is such a thing as fighting too aggressively. Usually, this works!" another laugh. After that, he glares at Kent intensely. "Good thing I ate earlier, or I'd be starving right now."

His construct range is about 10 feet for medium objects, with the range increasing the smaller the object is. He forms a large marble-like construct right above Kent's head, allowing it to fall while he kept him busy. "So, how're things on your end? Your friend over in the nurse's office... I sure do hope he's okay~"

((Kent sees the object falling and tries to dodge out of the way, but still winds up being hit taking another 20% damage. ))

Kent was relieved to see the injured student taken to the infirmary, he assumed the exercise had concluded with the injury. He attention turned back towards Daniel as he started laughing. Kent couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as Daniel's face intensified. Despite the situation, He could still sense malicious intent coming from him. He had asked Kent about his 'friend' which took him aback for a moment.

Kent never really had a friend before, so hearing those words in relation to him was startling. As he began to dwell on that thought, he almost failed to notice the column above his coming down on him. He tries to move back out of the way but the construct strikes him regardless. His skin begins to glow a bright verdant color as readjusts himself. Were he capable of feeling pain, he was certain that would have been a doozy.

His focus adjusted once again on Daniel, a look of solemnity on his face. "I really didn't want to have to do this." Kent tightened his fists and approached him. Using a controlled amount of his strength, He tries to strike Daniel in the stomach attempting to wind him and hopefully knock him unconscious.

Kent swings, hitting Daniel in the stomach with impressive force but not noticeably super-human strength.

Daniel grunts, but smiles joyously moments later. "Hell yeah! Someone finally got a clear hit on me! Let's really get this party started!" He materializes a large spike and forces it into the aura holding him in place, hoping this would bust it open so he can let loose.

Daniel produces a spike and attacks the barrier; the use of a physical object against a magical construct has limited success and all he manages to do is to weaken the barrier. Another effort could break the barrier and might even cause a magical backlash against the barrier created.
