I would have thought the Andrea/Alina story would’ve been the first episode not to feature Molly.
Edit: referring to this.

Gotta say, a bit shocked they were going to tell an episode about Patty's death. Though I imagine her inevitably becoming a ghost would have softened the blow a little.
So in this new tweet, Bill Motz places part of the blame on a site that pirated the show and cost it views.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.NGL, that kind of feels unfair? Maybe I'm biased because I've used, ahem, less than legal means to watch shows but that's largely because I don't have access to Disney Channel, I don't have Disney NOW, and while I do have Disney+ I have to wait for the episodes to be put up in batches onto the site before I can watch them. And I know that's the case with a lot of fans as well, especially fans overseas. I do make sure to stream the episodes when they're out on Disney+—I mean this show is fun to rewatch too so might as well—but if I want to watch an episode right when it comes out, I have to resort to Perfectly Legal Means(TM).
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself. That is a difference between you and others, then. People who don't go back to watch in official means cannot be counted by Disney when deciding what's worth renewing after all.
SoundCloudblaming a piracy website for low ratings is..misplaced blame, but it's understandable why he's reacting like this due to the cancellation.
New theme music also a boxMaybe if Disney released the episodes of the show simultaneously worldwide, there'd be less piracy. After all, a good chunk of the piracy could come from international fans who have to either wait longer to gain legal means of watching or outright not having it released internationally at all.
At the same time, I would hope that even corporate bigwigs aren’t unreasonable enough to expect numbers that require a global audience to determine if a show gets renewed if the show doesn’t actually debut in all countries at the same time.
SoundCloudWell even with the show over, Bob and Bill aren't at least:
Good.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I do hope Disney Television Animation releases stuff like a canon book or a reunion special for the 5 year anniversary in 2026.
only if there's a demand for such a thing (I dont think there is)
New theme music also a boxRatings for the final 2 episodes are out. Jinx Vs The Human World got 63,000 and The End got 56,000. This means the series finale got the worst ratings in the entire series and potentially among the lowest of Disney Channel this year, being below 100,000 now.
The script for "Forever Home" kind of confuses me. Okay, Patty has no unfinished business to achieve as a ghost, so she moves on to.. wherever her spirit actually went.
But there was already characters we see who accomplished some unfinished business, like Sonia Davis (who found her love of ice-skating again) and Sally Tugbottom (who got her rightful place in Brighton's history after her brother stole it from her for years.), but they still have a place in the Ghost World... Then why didn't they move on too?
The script said the old Chairman kept them from leaving to continue feeding on misery, and presumably after millennia of restraining anyone from leaving even with unfinished business the ghosts just stayed there by inertia alone
Until Ollie would've come along and changed that
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."That animator was voiced by Khary Payton. I'm certain of it even though I doubt we'll see a credit. Don't know who the physical actor was for the animator but that isn't for mortals to know.
The "Ollie becomes Chairman but loses his memories" would've certainly made quite the drama for the show to employ, especially with it having been planned to lead into the final reveal.
