As for me, I've mainly been trying my hand at character/prop modelling via Blender. Not much architecture, other than a temple and this one house that I originally started doing with Maya. But I got a few other projects going that I reckon will be pretty amazing to see finished! Although you could say all the focus I've been putting on them has made me a little more withdrawn than usual... Ah well, it's made me some money at least!
I kinda want to take up 3D modeling. Any suggestions on where to begin?
I used to use Blender, and I remember it being relatively user friendly, but I primarily use Revit and AutoCAD, occasionally 3DSMAX.
Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.Oh, I have Blender, but haven't used it much.
Are there models I can practice with since I'm not very good with drawing?
A mug is a good start.
Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.Noting here that the Deauville Resort in Miami has been demolished as of November 13 this year.
RIP.

Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.
I am currently building a drafting portfolio, and I have a thing for architecture and modelling.
