Ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come, it's time for the first Trash Taste Awards:
…Holy crap, I can’t believe this show is a year old already.
I know, right?!
New episode is out and it's about...uh...
I...actually read the very first one mentioned.
First of all, it's been many years since I read it and I didn't realize it was this weird.
Secondly, with that said, I did NOT expect Lord of the Rings, M Night Shaymalan, and video game leveling system to be mentioned while describing this series.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Oh no, not that manga. At least a Jo Jo saved her life and she lived a happy life. That will always be canon to me.
Anyway, here's the Trash taste guys doing their thing at the Foreign Correspondence Club of Japan.
I'm still debating if I want to read Metamorphosis. I will, however, make time to read one or two of the others they mentioned.
The last episode in the old set is out.
I noticed this morning on the podcast's Twitter that they issued an apology for an ad break that was apparently inserted smack in the middle of them talking about Kentaro Miura's passing...fortunately almost every comment I saw at that point was very understanding. I remember that ad, but I'm so used to their ads popping up out of nowhere that it didn't even faze me.

From the ad break previews we have of the new set, I think it looks pretty good
All I can say is give yourself a few days to process your mind after.
Burning love!Sponsored by Gigabyte and their entire stock of 3090s.
Also Grant's cable management is horrendous.
Edit: Autocorrect.

Burning love! The fourth boy has returned:
new Trash Taste episode where they actually talk about anime, it's also the most time-relevant episode, since moving studio destroyed their buffer:
First guest of the new studio, Shuu Uchida.

Burning love!I thought that was Chris Broad?
At this point, he's basically fourth boi.
Burning love! Now which will have more likes, the video or Uchida?
edit: Okay, Joey and Garnt are no slouches in that department either. I never noticed that.

Meanwhile, Joey has fun interviewing a former Yakuza member.
…Maybe it’s confirmation bias, but damn as soon as the guy shows up you just know he was in a gumi.
I love that the guy keeps correcting Joey's manners like a stern father. That is a man who is used to being obeyed.
Tour of their new studio, which is honestly a whole lot bigger compared to their old studio, which was in a small Japanese apartment with a balcony that was literally the same size as said apartment. I won't link to the tour of the old studio because of the Yumi and Shadow Momo daki.
Also, freaking nice as fuck Attack on Titan statue they have.
Burning love!I'm seriously impressed by the upgrade...goes to show what NSFW content on your Patreon can lead to .
Today, another 3x3 episode, this time about manga:
Quite refined taste these boys have, funnily enough.
BECK is my favorite manga, so watching Garnt struggle to explain why it's so good was the most relatable thing I've seen on this podcast.
I’ve just learned of the great chicken debate and I cannot believe both Joey and Connor support boneless chicken breast. That’s easily the worst part of the chicken!
I was bouncing back and forth between laughing and facepalming during that entire argument...and I'm totally with Garnt if we're talking fried chicken like you get from KFC or Popeyes.
The breast is the best part of the chicken. It has the most meat and skin.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.
