I just launched a page for a gorgeous ongoing military conspiracy comic, Nuclear Summer 1997. It's hopefully a complete enough page to avoid stub territory, but any help with trope examples would be appreciated!

Clearly takes strong inspiration from Metal Gear - the main character clearly looks like Snake Plisken and his name is likely a nod to Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell games, and the specialist sent to recruit him is a dead ringer for Otacon. And then there's a former colonel that he's supposed to meet...

Pity the comic hasn't really gotten anywhere plot-wise, just story set-up and a road trip insofar. Might come back to this one in a few months.
