Has anyone played Ballad of an Evening Butterfly?

I played it once like 7 years ago and played it again at some point. I really like the monochromatic aesthetic and the melancholy atmosphere. The music is beautiful as well.

The writing however is kind of a hit and miss. It's very descriptive with characterization which I like but the Purple Prose gets a bit unruly at times. The true nature of the plot leans on the ambiguous side and things get harder to piece together towards the middle and end as the events don't have that much build up and feel more like story fragments at times. The VN is something you would probably have to read twice to get a better grasp as it give the reader much time to digest the story (if that makes any sense). I feel the story the author wanted to tell probably needed more than the 2-3 hours of gameplay for it to develop fully.
