BBC has an update on the Harry Dunn case.
Looks good.
Mr Dunn, 19, died when his motorbike was in a crash with a car near RAF Croughton, Northamptonshire, in 2019.
The suspect Anne Sacoolas later left for the United States and last week judges accepted she "enjoyed immunity from UK criminal jurisdiction".
The spokesman for Mr Dunn's family said they were "delighted" over the appeal.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has been contacted for comment.
The legal challenge by Mr Dunn's parents Charlotte Charles and Tim Dunn claimed suspect Mrs Sacoolas, 43, should not have been granted immunity.
Mrs Sacoolas, whose husband Jonathan worked as a technical assistant at the RAF base, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving in December.
An extradition request was denied in January - a decision later described as "final". Anne Sacoolasimage copyrightAiken Standard Archive image captionAnne Sacoolas, pictured on her wedding day in 2003, cited diplomatic immunity after the crash and returned to the US
But Lord Justice Flaux and Mr Justice Saini concluded "that Mrs Sacoolas enjoyed immunity from UK criminal jurisdiction at the time of Harry's death".
After the ruling, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said: "While this judgment makes clear the Foreign Office acted properly and lawfully throughout, I appreciate that won't provide any solace to the family in their search for justice."
He added that they were "clear that Anne Sacoolas needs to face justice in the UK."
Speaking after their application to appeal was granted, the Dunn family's spokesman, Radd Seiger, said: "Harry's parents are delighted that the court has granted permission in their case as it signals that the judges accept that their decision may be wrong."

Update. Some news outlets are reporting that Sacoolas may have been working with American intelligence at the time of the accident that killed Harry Dunn.

Another diplomatic incident, this time from the Pakistani Embassy in South Korea.
The new junta coup has sparked protests from rumors that the old one's trying to seek refuge within a French base to mount a counterattack.
French Embassy was targeted.
Picked up news that Anne Sacoolas pleaded guilty for being involved in the death of Harry Dunn via car crash.
I’ll go and look for the article if I can find it for details.

Well, the pro-Israel groups are condemning the UN reps who aren't joining Erdan in solidarity.
Heard that he's released.

A New Zealander landlord lost a court case to get Chinese diplomats to pay the fine for leaving a rented house without cleaning it up. Chandler Investments Limited claimed NZ$960 ($559;£462) over it.
It was dismissed due to sovereign immunity rights.

Been able to scope out things with the Iranian Embassy in Damascus being bombed and all that:
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights compiled the casualty list as of today:

- 7 IRGC soldiers/officers
- 5 militiamen from the Front for the Liberation of the Golan, a pro-Hezbollah/Syrian militia
- 1 Hezbollah fighter
- 2 civilians
Now there are questions on whether the Israeli military is justified in the air strikes.

In summary, international law does not mention anything regarding a third party. Only things between two states (eg the murder of Jamal Khashoggi).

Then there's this consideration to make:
Iran has long blurred the lines between its diplomatic missions and its military operations in the Middle East. It selects its ambassadors to Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen — countries that make up the “axis of resistance” — from the commanders of the Quds Forces, the external branch of the Revolutionary Guards Corps, rather than its career diplomats. In 2021, Mohammad Javad Zarif, then Iran’s foreign minister, said in a leaked recording that Iran’s foreign policy in the region is determined by its field military operations and not traditional diplomacy set by the foreign ministry.

Looks like Singaporean MFA is willing to help the NPA by removing the diplomat's immunity if the evidence is proven true as soon as they bear out.
