x2: I'm still surprised the higher-ups eventually let up on restricting the usage of Superman and Batman explicitly to begin with. Supergirl was practically writing around mentioning and seeing both in Season One.

Supergirl season 1's tiptoeing around Superman was painfully obvious. Part of me hopes somebody higher up saw that, said "no, this is just stupid" and decided to let them use Superman based on that.
I don't see why we can't just have TV and film versions of the same characters coexisting. People seem to love alternate versions of the same character nowadays.
The Arrowverse is getting a brand new series of tie-in comics known as Earth-Prime, starting with Batwoman and Superman & Lois. According to ComicBeat, "look for Earth-Prime #1 to arrive in stores and digitally on Tuesday, April 5th, with Earth-Prime #2 following two weeks later on Tuesday, April 19th."
EVER SINCE THE TECH THAT CREATED MANY OF BATMAN’S ROGUES HIT THE STREETS, RYAN WILDER HAS BEEN RUNNING HERSELF RAGGED TRYING TO CONTAIN THE NEW VILLAINS POPPING UP AROUND GOTHAM CITY. BUT WHEN CLAYFACE’S (MAKING HIS CW DEBUT) MUD BINDS ITSELF TO A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLER, BATWOMAN WILL NEED HELP FROM AN UNEXPECTED SOURCE TO CONTAIN THIS MUDDY FOE! ALSO, FOLLOW HOW LUKE FOX BALANCES HIS LIFE AS A SUPER HERO AND A BOYFRIEND!
TRYING TO CELEBRATE THEIR MARITAL BLISS IS NEVER EASY WHEN YOU’RE A SUPER HERO HUSBAND AND NEWS REPORTER WIFE; ESPECIALLY WHEN WORLD-SAVING AND CREATING HARD-HITTING STORIES CONTINUE TO SPOIL YOUR PLANS! PLUS, THE TRUE ORIGINS OF THE EVIL SUPERMAN FROM JOHN HENRY IRONS’ WORLD ARE FINALLY REVEALED!
I'm not the biggest fan of the art style but it's definitely eye-catching.
I came here to ask is that NAOMI show still happening? I'm seeing cast pictures that definitely weren't there before.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).That art style is definitely not for me.
Naomi just aired it's second episode. So far however, it is set in it's own world, no connection to the Arrowverse. Let's see when that changes.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Both cover arts are done by Kim Jacinto, a Filippino artist best known for their Marvel contributions. Personally, I like the Batwoman one more for being striking. Supes & Lois' cover is fine, through it does take some liberties with likenesses.
Batwoman's actual interior artist is Clayton Henry, who posted some early panels without announcing the project prior.
Superman & Lois' interior art is a duo team: Tom Grummett as the artist and Norm Rapmund as the inker. I couldn't find any "hidden in plain sight" examples of their S&L work like Henry, but their veteran portfolios offer a more "traditional" comic book art style.

That actually does look fine. Let's see if it actually becomes canon, that has always been kind of a problem with Arrowverse tie-in material.

Wake me up at your own risk.x2: It's claimed to be in-canon, according to the press release. 5 solo issues per show (Batwoman, Superman & Lois, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Stargirl), culminating into a sixth final issue that serves as the crossover event.
Though yeah, the tie-in materials for Arrowverse have always been shaking continuity-wise. I haven't read the Crisis on Infinite Earths tie-in comic in its entirety yet. However, I do know we have awkward cases of two different adaptations of King Shark, The Tornado Twins, and even Karen Faulkner is on Superman and Lois (despite a similar adaptation appearing on Supergirl working in the DEO).
Wait, Stargirl too? So they're gonna meet her first in a comic?

Furthermore, a pilot episode for Gotham Knights has been commissioned, among a couple of other potential upcoming CW series.

Five bucks Gotham Knights has Jason Todd romancing Joker's daughter.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."By the way, the first issue of the Earth-Prime mini-series debuts on April 5th. This one's Batwoman-centric, and AIPT Comics has the first couple of preview pages:
So, with two shows being cancelled at the same time, Im only waiting for planned the 'Justice U' show with David Ramsey going the way of Green Arrow & the Canaries and Painkiller.
It's sad, but I do believe DC is done with the CW way, especially after Painkiller.

I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyRiverdale comes to mind, as that show was renewed back in March alongside Superman & Lois and Stargirl. I suppose All American too, since that one has a spin-off series. The Winchesters is a Supernatural prequel series in development too.
Ultimately, it seems like The CW is dialing back, but not cleaning out their DC slate. "Justice U" is the only Arrowverse show we know is in development. Naomi isn't Arrowverse, and still waiting for renewal. Gotham Knightsis also not Arrowverse, and still in the pilot stage.
Well, surprisingly enough, it seems like "Justice U" with David Ramsey is still in development

Maybe the Arrowverse is not dying after all?

"In development" doesn't really mean anything though.
It might get to the plint of a pilot, but let's see if it actually comes out.
Wake me up at your own risk.I just... Justice U is the one they picked for survival.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).David Ramsey's name still has weight.
But yeah, it is an odd pick.

Like a Green Lantern ring.
They were building up to that.
But we're getting a knock-off live action Young Just... Gotham Aca... I don't even know what this is.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).A very well-written eulogy to the Arrowverse

From I remember they did similar stuff back when Smallville was airing too. Pretty sure there were multiple characters they couldn’t use and some they tried writing around like with Curtis Knox/Vandal Savage.
