To be honest, I wasn't really a huge MJ fan and this documentary, well...I don't know who to believe anymore at that point. I mean MJ is dead and there are people still saying bad things about him.

With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationStill hearing some Michael Jackson on the radio from time to time. Clearly we cannot live without him after all.
Optimism is a duty. The casino I work at still has a lot of his music in its regular playlist.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationIt seems nothing changed.
Illuminate! At some point, a creator's work are just too famous and influential to be tarnished by the actions of its creator, it seems.
Optimism is a duty.Well, Leaving Neverland has its detractors from what I've seen. Some people have denounced it as a one-sided piece of slander with too many holes, contradictions and lies in the testimonies to take seriously. Though the lack of change has probably less to do with that and more with a general apathy about the alleged actions of a dead guy. If LN had come out when Jackson was alive, that might have been a different story.
I think that people also care more about what the music itself means to them than what the artist did or didn't do.
People constantly listen to music while barely knowing anything about the artist at all.
Optimism is a duty.I stopped hearing R. Kelly music last year. Even my casino took "I Believe I Can Fly" out of it's song line-up.
Though I guess he's simply not as iconic as MJ.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationWonder if "You Are Not Alone" will leave rotation, since R. Kelly wrote that song.
Does that really matter, though? And should it?
I don't think we should start pruning songs for failing artistic purity tests. And if we do, we may find that we would have to scrap rather more songs than we'd like.
Optimism is a duty. This is a neverending story, isn't it? The accusations, them being shown to be full of holes and rinse and repeat? It feels like it's just a weird cycle that doesn't accomplish much, honestly. It's just kind of tiring at this point.

Wake me up at your own risk. The problem is that the guy is dead, and we can do little else but move on at this point. Maybe the victims could sue the estate for damages, but that is about it, I think.
Optimism is a duty.Obvious troll is obvious, obvious troll gets bounced.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
It depends on what the stranger looks like. Some people look inherently trustworthy, and a friendly smile goes a long way. Wear a suit, and people would leave their wallet with them too while they're at it.
Optimism is a duty.
