That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Running jokes may or may not land but if they don't, I could see it being annoying since by definition they're repetitive.

Personally I like the little through lines like that in each episode as it helps tie the episode together. Since most episodes cover so much time and there are so many recurring characters and themes across episodes, I find those gags helpful for giving each episode its own identity.

I mean. A week. Pretty much to be expected of a weekly show.

[up] … For some reason I thought this was a monthly show. >.>

Anyway, he had more to say about it than I expected. Even on the non political side of things, showing that the film fails at even the most basic steps of filmmaking… It’s quite fascinating.

And I gotta agree with Cody, the "How many badgers did you kill...?" "...All but one." line did make me chuckle pretty hard. [lol]

Can't say I cared for this episode. Like, I know it's the point but it really did feel like picking apart an incompetent but not even So Bad, It's Good comedy. I get the purpose of the video, though. To point out the hypocrisy of how anti-woke media commentary keep thinking there binary is "no politics" and "evil leftist politics." That their messaging is so neutral and natural that anything with their message counts as apolitical.

I do have to say that the "Women are just like men, only better... tell each other how brave you are for things that require absolutely no physical courage" is kinda the funniest line I've ever heard in my life. Like... holy shit. That's so comically clunky to shove in there in of itself that it gets a laugh from me.

But then the context makes it even better. As Cody says, being around guys is brave, especially since an explicit theme of the work is that any guy can easily overpower any woman.

But also hilariously, in googling to find that quote, I found the first time "brave" was used in the movie. And... it's in the coach's uplifting speech to the team back in the good ol' days when he calls them brave for... being willing to play basketball?

So for a company that supposedly wanted to make 'non-woke/political' movies, in the first 20 minutes of Lady Ballers Boering's character gets fired from his job because he scolded a black student for stealing his tools, which he gets called racist for (which DEFINETLY doesn't send any dog whistles or anything) and gets told that he can't teach anything from the Bible. And also his daughter has a MtF trans classmate show her her penis in the bathroom. Sounds pretty political and hypocritical of them to me.

In other news, the guy in charge of whatever "X" means seems to really like Nazis.

Fear it... or not.

A new video is out:

I'm not sure if it's just me, but my God, I really can't stand Warmbo. I'd much rather see more banter between Cody and Katy (Katie?). So I kinda enjoyed the final bit where Warmbo leaves the show...for now.

To be more relevant to the video, I find it really amusing how conservative/fascist speakers rant about how Taylor Swift suddenly became popular...like, bud, she's been extremely popular for at least over a decade, wtf you guys even talking about.

(Of course, they may or may not believe it themselves, but their stupid and angry fanbase will eat up anyway)
