Yeah that is what I thought, harry look like the kind of person who join comunty to avoid face his own demons and just end carry them on to them in the first place

I finished the game yesterday,for the first time ever I had a bug that resulted from a scene not triggering properly

it was the scene with the hardy boys being confronted by the mercs in case you were wondering

Anyway

I was convinced the shooter was actually Harry this whole time,turned it was a drifter with serious issues

Ruby's death was so senseless fuck

I never really paid attention to this game outside of some amusing Awkward Zombie comics about it. Was there some drama involving the publisher I'm unaware of? Talking with another community about the Steam sale and this was recommended but also warned against because of that.

The publisher fired the original devs,then the fired devs turned around and sued them

they then they settled

People are a little miffed buying the game means supporting publisher who screwed the devs over

which is why I waited till it went on sale,if I'm going to purchase the game it wont be at full price

The company was bought out from the game's creators with money embezzled by the guy who bought it (from the company).

Just realize that it's all about the dialogue and world building. Also, don't sweat failing checks.

Though playing the detective as someone so disturbed by his latest blackout that he's giving sobriety a try — at least during this case — is also pretty fun.

A question: can I safely pawn off the antique rifle once I’ve identified the gun the bullet in the hanged man came from?

It's been a while, but from my memory the game won't let you pawn anything that would soft-lock your progress.

On another note, anyone got some good Thought recommendations? I’ve almost got a full Thought Cabinet and have a good idea what I want to put in the remaining slots, but I’m planning to forget Volumetric Shit Compressor as I don’t think I need it anymore, so I’ll have one spot leftover.

The others I’ve currently internalized Ace’s High, Actual Art Degree, Col Do Ma Ma Daqua, Cop of the Apocalypse, Inexplicable Feminist Agenda, Jamais Vu (Derealisation), Mazovian Socio-Economics, The Bow Collector, and The Fifteenth Indotribe; I also intend to take Wompty-Dompty Dom Centre and Fairweather T-500 (which I’ll also probably replace once The Tribunal is over).

I’ve unlocked a few that I’m interested in but haven’t taken yet: Anti-Object Task Force, Guillaume le Million, Magnesium-Based Lifeform, The Jamrock Shuffle, and The Suicide of Kras Mazov. Would any of these work well with what I’ve got?

Anti Object for is pretty useful of your Physique was a dump stat. Really, anything that gives a flat increase to your entire row of skills is worth the price.

Supposedly it also has the benefit of healing you when you hurt yourself hitting the scenery? I've never noticed it working, and apparently it negates the damage instead of being a free heal, so it means nothing.

Makes sense. I actually think I’ll go with Guillaume le Million, as I feel like it’s in-character for how I’ve been playing Harry this time, and also take The Suicide of Kras Masov later, since I’m a huge commie (with some latent ultra-liberal sympathies born from my desperation for money).

The shitstorm achievement might be my least favorite. The ideology ending cheevos are also annoying since each quest is mutually exclusive, meaning you need to reload a save the night before to do them and they can get kinda lengthy in prep.

But the shitstorm needs a mildly specific stat build to unlock. And of course it means dumping a lot of points into both Hand/Eye Coordination and Motorifics to do it. At least other specific build-cheevos are pretty useful: seeing the Ferris Wheel is easy when you can have Actual Arts Degree and Wompty Dompty both pay you back in dividends.

So latest update on the ZA/UM executive debacle seems to have that more talent has bleeded out, future projects have gotten cancelled and confirmation that the youtube documentary was indeed attempt by executives to muddle the waters and shift the blame?
