Perfectly normal.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise....I feel like I'm the only person on Earth who would notice this, but wasn't the keyhole different before?
What I think I was supposed to notice, her text in base form is dark purple now. She's a 魔法 again, even though she doesn't look it.
An interesting reaction. She knows that the being that just possessed her killed her three best friends a few weeks ago. She knows now as well something to which we're not privy. And yet, she seems less occupied with these revelations than the fact that she "can" now bat for the away team.
My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger. This would mean the game has changed a bit, with Tess being on a journey to villainy. I suspect her development would lead to Dark Magical Girl or Black Magician Girl, and becoming the final antagonist, a Tragic Villain that got corrupted by the force that took most of her friends to the hereafter.
I think Goops is still in control.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Goops is the one in control. Her line of "that's officially possible" sounds to me like "I've had my powers for years but never tried this trick before, kinda surprised it worked." It just seems too casual for a girl with brand new powers, if that makes sense. Just like how all her interactions with people and monsters so far has felt much more Goops than Tessa.
I suspect Tessa is still in there, but she's a passenger who is enjoying the ride rather than the driver.
Yeah the fact that the bubble's lines are black but the text is purple note suggests either that goops is sorta in control or gave sliiightly more control to Tessa but only cos that way it's easier to keep up the facade.
The bubble outline (aka the outer part) being black and the text (aka the inner part) being purple says to me "looks like Tessa on the outside, but Goops is the one talking."
...honestly, I didn't even consider that, and I'm pretty sure I still don't think so, since the speech style seems much more Tessa than Goops.
My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger.Wouldn't want to make it too obvious in front of the parents, right?
Interstitial. An origin story.
...the catfe opens at two...? Uh... why? I mean, I know bakeries tend to open early, but isn't it usually more like four through six?

My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger. It doesn't. They just have someone pop by to see if everything is fine after the nightly raid.
Plus I'd imagine it's not uncommon since there's fewer hours to operate during the night due to monsters. Gotta be open when you can.

Catching up.

I'm curious how this will go. I'm reminded of a scene in Ransom where Mel Gibson's character publicly offers the money intended for his son's remain as a bounty for his kidnappers. Main bad guy panics and kills all his cohorts on the spot then tried to claim the reward.
"Stressa Contessa," so called, can't be the first mahou who's gone off the rails. Hell, we've already seen Undine abuse her powers on reporters, and Cassidy on Undine.
