Oh yes, I remember someone making fun of this on Youtube, Even as a millennial Malaysian, I can imagine some bored suburban housewife watching this in the morning after church service and taking it seriously, before having a polite discussion about it and "that woman" (Monica Lewinsky) with the other housewives from the same church. Pretty much how I think the '90s was like.

Anyone here remember when religious Moral Guardians would blame things like Rock and Roll, Table top roleplaying games, video games, and even toys? This stuff was fairly common back in the 80s and 90s (And the early 2000s to an extent). Here is a video that is a classic example of this.
