The Ben 10k episodes tend to be one of my favorites in the original, so I naturally find this one to be pretty entertaining with Ben and Ken's contrasting relationship.
Ben never really thought to use Grey Matter for anything ever other than messing with machines. I feel like I would turn into Grey or Brainstorm every other day.
To be fair, I think Ken had the advantage because he's from the future. Futuristic tech, alien stuff is right there on the streets and Omnitrix is much less of a mystery to the point his dad literally built a second one. I'd say Ken had a better chance of hacking Omnitrix than Ben ever could.
Azmuth said that there could only be one Omnitrix when Albedo created a copy of it. How come he's cool with Ben creating one for his son?

We don't actually know Azmuth's opinion of Ken's Omnitrix because he never shows up in any of the future episodes.
Given how responsible Future Ben is, I suspect Azimuth is totally cool with it.
But Omnitrix and Ultimatrix are ok?
Azmuth never approved of the Ultimatrix. He only allowed Ben to keep it because the prototype got destroyed and the official Omnitrix wasn't completed.

He was working on Ultimatrix. Albedo then stole it.
No. Albedo took an Omnitrix core and created the Ultimatrix. It's very likely that the core was an earlier model. The evolutionary function was added by Albedo.

Word of God states that Azmuth worked on the Ultimatrix for years, but its power core was unstable and incomplete, so he contained the device in high-security storage.
What's likely is that the Ultimatrix was either an earlier model or was being built as a replacement for the prototype Omnitrix.
The writers probably forgot about Ken's Omnitrix when they created that line of dialogue in Albedo's debut episode.

Here in South America it is MASSIVE. It almost got Teen Titans Go levels of screentime without getting too overbearing. The toys sold by the truckloads.

Here in the states, the original series moderately popular. The sequel series are a lot more obscure to the mainstream.
Ben 10 has always had a large Latin American audience. I'd even say it's even bigger than the US and Canadian audience.

Yeah, I remember this episode not being that great. I'll always find it funny that only of the villains talked. Ninja made sense, Clancy was mutated, Acid Breath spoke for the others...but Sublimino thing was really awkward.
And I never understood that part where the force field makes Energy invisible unless you wear goggles that also increase the noise of the field. It just felt like a needlessly contrived set-up so Gwen can use those to knock out Cooper later.
Do you think Cooper was just an afterthought for this episode that was added so he could be third hero for Alien Force until Kevin replaced him?
According to the wiki, UCG refers to I-10: The Ben 10 User Generated Experience special. Coincidentally, this special was talked about before by Kuro, as in his youth, his fan animation was featured. As a bonus, the whole special is archived here.
Meanwhile, the "lost episode" is actually referring to the non-canon finale, "Goodbye and Good Riddance."
Still can't get over that Alien Force started to air immediately after Classic Ben 10 ended. Alien Force seasons 1/2 and 3 had a longer break.
Say what you will about Alien Force but the teasers and trailers leading up to the premiere were wild.

All I could think with those wrestlers is how their dad looks like. Some kind of giant spike-covered alligator-man?
Another episode where Ben just gets screwed over. And Max stands right there and allows it. It sometimes hard to write a character as a Butt-Monkey without turning people around him into assholes. You know how it is, exposition scene but to keep it from getting dull Plucky Comic Relief gets himself stuck in the machine or attacked by animals and everyone ignores him until the end of exposition when they're like "Jim, stop goofing around. We've got work to do."
Funnily, Ben is completely opposite from Gwen. I always thought Ready to Rumble was pretty dull but the way Ben was written really felt like he character developed. Him trying to fix the laptop, giving away money, figuring out where they keep wrestlers' mom, keeping his identity a secret.
Ditto scene was especially noticeable because a) he got the wrong alien but seemed confident to use without a second of complaint b) when asked where's Ben he just said "he's never around when you need him", again without any hesitation and also casually badmouthing himself for his secret identity. Usually, this is the kind of lie other characters would say making Ben annoyed.
