Who is Shaun?
My various fanfics. He's another content maker along the lines of Hbomerguy and Contra Points, if a bit less theatrical in his approach. I'd first heard of him because one of his videos was taken down after some jackasses who disagreed with it decided to mass flag it, similar to something that had happened once with one of Contra's videos.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I watched his new Stefan Molyneux. God, that man makes my skin crawl.

And then some Youtubers have the gall to attribute all that to SJWs, when that can happen from the other side of the fence, too.
What about Kraut and Tea?
So, I decided to look into this guy after this thread got made and I really like him so far. He's a little dry compared to Hbomberguy, but he's still very good.
I know, right? These stories about native genocide are really disturbing. The fact Stefano Molyneux has the gals to defend it is even more so. At last these genocidal American soldiers are all dead by now. But the fact people like Stefano exist and are becoming more popular is really upsetting.
Hbomberguy and Shaun are like two sides of the same coin. Bomber is a lot more eager and hyper-active while Shaun is almost characterized by his extremely dry way of speaking (which generates wonderful opportunities for some A-grade Deadpan Snarker moments).
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Feels kinda weird seeing just 'Shaun' in the thread title when I first knew him through Twitter and had (and still has) the 'Shaun and Jen' handle, which he similarly adopted for his YT channel until his reputation for analysis (and counterarguments/dismantling of alt-right/*rational* talking points) way overshadowed his previous rep of Lets Playing with Jen (which I think they moved to some new channel)
Anyway yes, he's awesome. 2017 is better than 2016 already on the basis of me discovering him, Hbomb and Contra. SJW EXTENDED UNIVERSE
'Shaun and Jen' are the best and worst channel on my subscription feed. I really enjoy their non-political videos and the Stefan Molyneux take-downs but everything else tends to rub me the wrong way.
Shaun seems very judgemental and he has some 'zeal of the convert' about him that comes out a lot on Twitter. I also disliked his commentary on 'Kraut and Tea', and found it to be a little disingenuous. He's one of only four "SJW" channels I regularly watch (the others being 'Contra Points', 'Hbomberguy' and 'Ranting Feminist') but if it weren't for his non-political content, I'd probably drop him.
I really like his 'Cinema Sins' videos because I've always been annoyed by 'Cinema Sins' especially when his fans hide behind the "it's just a joke" excuse that doesn't really work when you examine it.

I've never really disagreed with Shaun on anything particular. If anything, he's exceedingly tranquil when dealing with these things. In every video he does his absolute best to assume the best of the people he's arguing against, even when he really shouldn't. K&T is a pseudo-Nazi friends with white supremacists who supports book-shredding but Shaun still does a commendable effort in trying to take his arguments at face value rather than just reaching the easy (and likely correct) conclusion (that Kraut and Tea is a massive piece of shite).
"All you Fascists bound to lose."I also like Shaun's video defending moderate Muslims that do try to prevent terror attacks.
I feel similarly about HBomb - great video content, insufferable twitter feed.
Given they are Socialists, I'd be shocked if H Bomb and Shaun liked our Democratic Party. As far as I know, British folk view our "Left" party as being horribly Right.
Most of that circle of YouTubers are all way further Left than mainstream politics anyway.

Given that already a few people here who think their Twitter feeds are 'insufferable', I think it's a safe bet to take. (on them not liking it)
Parties cannot really be charted on a linear graph once you cross national borders. Most of the Labour Party's positions are to the left of the Democratic Party, yes, but Democrat rhetoric on things like immigration ("come one come all" "we're all illegal immigrants") would spell certain doom for a Labour politician outside London.
Also, whilst the tendency has been for the Democrats to migrate towards universal healthcare, up until recently the consensus in Britain was towards greater and greater levels of privatisation.
Not to mention the Brexit fiasco where every air-headed US liberal and their dog seemed to thing it was a dramatic reversal of fortunes for the Left, rather than a blow to the establishment coming from both sides of the spectrum (since the more right-leaning Tories were in favour of Brexit, as were the hard-left in the Labour Party).
Does Shaun match HBomb for shit taste in movies? That's the real question.
New video making fun of Molyneaux's failed attempts at film critique. This time on Wonder Woman. These are always a good time.
I like how Molyneaux's first "cliche" he lists is the Lady Land paradise. Of all the things DC decided to emulate from the Marvel movies to produce something that actually functions as a film... that's the first thing that jumps to your mind as a 'cliche' in watching a modern superhero movie? Hysterical.

Well, obviously, women can't construct a peaceful society on their own. They'll be tearing each other's eyes out like cats because all women hate each other. They obviously need a male authority figure to keep them in line.

I'm just wondering how Stefan manages to sit through a movie with absolutely no idea what happens in it. It's like he has such a low level of suspension of disbelief that he literally can't understand what's going on right in front of him because he can't believe a woman doing literally anything other than having kids, apparently.
Although, considering how Stefan apparently assumes every character has had an abusive history, I'm seriously wondering if he should go see a psychologist or a therapist.

Not Three Laws compliant.Totally not surprised that Molyneaux Draco In Leather Pantses Stanley Kowalski.
The most surreal bit is the one he rants about how the actress isn't Wonder Woman.
I mean...what the fuck did you expect, Stefan? For this to be a documentary?
"All you Fascists bound to lose."
Okay, this is my very first time actually creating a new thread. Hopefully I didn't wander too far off the mark here, because that would be worth a "D'oh!" or two.
Anyways, I brought Shaun's channel up in the thread about Hbomberguy. He deserves more love, too!
Reclaim the skull!
