Sounds like fun.
I've only played it once before, so I might find myself drawn into a replay from watching this series.
It's a shame though it's not on the SNES mini, I do have it on the Virtual Console, but it's easier to hook up a SNES mini to my monitor screen.
EDIT Seems he's playing the DS version, kind wish now I'd bought it ages ago, since it's expensive and about to get even more so.

The Steam Sale has Chrono Trigger for 50% off, I'm personally picking it up because its more convenient for me playing on the PC rather than my Wii U, and additionally I want to play along with a version closer to that of what Chugga is playing note .
I want the DS version, but the Steam version is 9 AUD, and the cheapest I can find the DS version is 102 AUD. Which is... not ideal.

The TRG run of Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is pretty close to the end. I'm guessing there will probably be just one more video since it is just the final bosses left and a few secrets.

"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaTwo videos, I'd figure. Need to grind up for the final boss, and then do the bonus episode. They missed a couple of treasures, and there's still the sub-games.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. They just uploaded the new episode for Amazing Mirror and...no, they're spending time grinding up lives for the final boss. This'll probably take a while. Also, we have a thread for talking about TheRunawayGuys on TVTropes. I just wanted to give some closure to a topic brought up here.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. So Chuggaa's playthrough of Chrono Trigger ended today, and the first hint for the next playthrough is "A long-awaited continuation".
So that just leaves, what, most of the games he's covered before as possibilities? At least we know it's not a franchise he hasn't done before, so no Fire Emblem or Ace Attorney.
I'm going to bet it's not Pokémon Black and White 2, just because it hasn't been exactly two years yet.
My bet is for Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Oh gods, I hope not. Given the amount of episodes on the original, we'd spend another year and a half watching that playthrough.

My guess is Super Mario Galaxy 2. He started his Super Luigi Galaxy series only a few months after the second game came out, so fans have probably waited a long time for him to do the sequel.
Xenoblade X is not a continuation of Xenoblade 1.
Where there's life, there's hope.We can say for certain that it's not a Zelda game, because he just did one of those. On that same notion, I would venture the guess that it's not a Mario game, because he did Yoshi's Wooly World right before Phantom Hourglass, and that's pretty close to a Mario game. It's probably not Pokémon, because his White playthrough isn't old enough for the next one to be considered "long-awaited". What would that leave us with, considering his completed projects?
Animal Crossing, maybe? He did mention it on his twitter these days, saying he missed playing it.
He also hasn't played a Kirby game in a long while. Or a Kid Icarus one. Although I don't know if either of these would count as "long-awaited".

He doesn't play Kirby games.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.He doesn't play "Kirby" games.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, maybe?
Migrated to Chloe Jessica!...I don't get what you mean. I've never cared much about Kirby games. What kinda games are you talking about?
Chugga doesn't usually play regular Kirby games. Anytime he's played one (Epic Yarn or the ones on TRG), he mentions how he doesn't have a lot of experience playing Kirby games and he's much more of a casual fan as a result. Just watch the Amazing Mirror play-through to see how inexperienced he is at Kirby games there.
So, I don't think we should expect say a Super Star or Kirby 64 play-through from him in the near future.

My guess would be Mario Galaxy 2. Yoshi's basically its own series by now so its been a while since he did Mario, ESPECIALLY Galaxy 1.
After thinking about it, I agree. I'm thinking this is definitely going to be Mario Galaxy 2.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Oh wow that was fast.
I sort of let the updates get away from me around ep 25 of the series.
I never even ended up replaying Chrono Trigger again either.
Galaxy 2 would be pretty cool. It's a fun game and I always like watching Chuggaa play 3D platformers.
It will be Chrono Cross
Some sad news. Emile's pet rabbit Pippy has passed away.
Chugga's in Seattle on a sponsored trip to Nintendo of America headquarters. Gotta wonder what that's about. My best guess is Pokemon Sword and Shield, since Xenoblade Definitive and Animal Crossing: New Horizons are at minimum 5 months away.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."
Oh wow. ...If Crono somehow gets into Smash as a fighter, I'm going to attribute that to Chuggaa playing this game.
And also we'll probably get "Last [synonym for time]" here like what happened with Partners in Time.
