Alright. I don't keep around my old arts, I my Art Evolution is coming nicely. My hands and feet are almost passable!

How come my pencil drawn arts look like this when they are scanned but when I print it out it has a deep black like the original?

[up] Maybe your monitor is badly calibrated, with overcranked brightness?

Anyways, I'm a photographer of the more artistic kind (I do portraits and scenes, including cosplay and things like that) and recently I started having some fun with the massive hoard of fonts I gathered over the years. For example, when someone mentioned that Thor: Ragnarok should be called Asgardians of the Galaxy I went on and did it (although the only fonts I could find were based on the earlier version of the film's logo, not the ones used on the final version - this is particularly noticeable in case of the capital A).

Well, this thread is a thing I just noticed.

I'm an artist. My art's usually a combination of traditional and digital and I suffer from an inability to ever stick to one style (see for yourself) though I prefer sticking to grayscale. I only started drawing seriously at the beginning of 2016 (It was a New Year's resolution) so whatever my style is, it's still evolving pretty rapidly.

Hi, I'm an artist. I draw/paint mainly digitally in a couple of different styles, and I like experimenting. I like drawing fanart, monsters and anthros, but sometimes I paint to vent, too. I also write fanfiction, but I think we're only talking about visual art here.

I've been drawing/painting for several years. Art is pretty important to me, I use it to wind down and express myself.

I'd put links to my works, but new users aren't allowed external links. Sad.

Hello everyone. I have been drawing since childhood I have been on and off prier to having a Deviant Art account (I may of well consider myself late on the DA boat). Right now I am in a Graphics design/Illustration course and I now submit a new work once a week on the off time.

Here is my DA if you're asking. https://axol-the-axolotl.deviantart.com/
