Looks like a mod deleted the thread, but yeah. Some Anvils Need to Be Dropped was explicitly deleted because an editor thought that it's racist/sexist for POC/women to not tolerate bad behavior.

months ago to argue about Brent and how he was totally maligned, so unfortunately it seems they're still sticking to that viewpoint :/

- Thread dies for an unknown period of time, usually several weeks
- Thread is revived by someone posting something
- Thread dies again
- Repeat infinitely
I suppose eventually this site will come up with some sort of door for it to go through.

Well, hopefully going to have stuff to add to this. My wife agreed to watch the show while we're on quarantine.
Keep in mind we have a two-month-old so our time to do anything is limited, but hopefully I'll have entertaining anecdotes from her coupled with my first full rewatch.

Ok, at first I was kinda disappointed that the Magical Profanity Filter turned out to not be an intentional torture device my Michael in the first season (though who knows, maybe Michael thought it could be used as one) but an actual feature of the real Good Place.
Then I realized kinda fits with the reveal of the real Good Place being a Crapsaccharine World.

Agreed, hence why I offered a writeup that actually addresses the trope, rather than going "this aesop is a good aesop."
The issue here is that the entry wasn't pulled due to misuse, but it was explicitly pulled because the editor said that women/POC not excusing bad behavior from white dudes is what's really sexist/racist.
