Sweet, NP 2 Aoko for 60 quartz. This almost makes up for Edgier Dantes snubbing me.

phew got one copy of Aoko after all

Managed to pull Aoko with tickets. Lasengle really doesn't want players to loop since these 4 enemy nodes are a pain! Clearly designed to use Aoko or else they could've just fit 4 enemies per wave instead of 3+1.

You know, I have my reservations about the Learning with collab, but I like how we sometimes just have a fight as some other characters. It's a nice gimmick, they should use it more often.

Anning is growing on me, she's pretty nice character.

Now I'm thinking about the FGO cast in Labyrinth with Oberon as the Goblin King.

Okay, it's probably time for a confession: I wasn't really reading the event before the "boss fight" ended up in my YouTube feed. I saw the PV was "onsen murder mystery" and immediately wrote the event off as a shameless fanservice gag plot that would do nothing interesting. I was clearly not correct!

Here's a more sensible observation I've seen going around: The event intro has the Part 2 title screen and Ridervinci is the one giving us the rundown... yet Mash is inexplicably in her Part 1 combat outfits, which she shouldn't have access to in Part 2. This could easily be written off as a coding mistake, but with the Fifth Magic on the table I'm not so sure.

e: Nevermind. It was in fact a coding mistake. Da Vinci's appearance depends on your story progression, so they just forgot to update Mash's appearance to accomodate.

Oh my god... I had been grinding the main story, interludes, etc for as much quartz as I could in preparation for the JAlter rate-up on NA... I switched to NA about 2 years ago, and I'd already missed her on a previous banner.

I got her on my second ten roll... in two copies! Then I tossed a ticket at it and got the third JAlter.

SUPER happy with that, just ecstatic honestly.

I just don't know what to exchange my SR ticket for... my options are to get my first copy of Saber Alter, or to get my fifth copy of Atalante to max her NP and get precious servant coins - Atalante is mai waifu, so I want to get both archer and berserker variants to 120.

Atalante very rarely has a rate up... last year, she was in the Thanksgiving rate up, and I only snagged two copies of her, getting to NP3. On the other hand, she's not story locked or limited, so I can still get her randomly at any time - which is where my fourth copy came from.

Saber Alter is story locked, so I can't get her unless there's a rate up... and those are damn rare. If we follow JP, then New Years 2026 will have a Saber Alter banner, and I don't know if I want to wait that long for my first copy. We're not even halfway through 2024 yet!

That said, I'd probably roll on that banner anyway because I don't want to leave her at NP1... so maybe I should just wait, and level up Atalante since I'm using her so often.

Argh.... decisions!

Come to think of it, I think when I used to play JP I originally got Saber Alter on a 4 star ticket.

I just picked Salter. No hesitation.

Being story-locked and exclusive to the Story-gacha, with its increasing amount of story-locked servants making the odds of pulling her even lower, she may as well be a cryptid at this point.

Went for Edison over here. He's also story-locked. I'd almost never have the chance to pull for him since I have to save up, and he's the last major utility support I'm missing AFAIK.

Reportedly Alice has a base NP Gain Rate of 0.51% and her NP is 7 hits. For reference, Majin Saber, who is known for looping, is 0.67% and 8 hits. Alice being a Quick looper is within the realm of reason.

I'm getting Salter. Guy options are out because I want to try for Takasugi so there is a chance of a guy story lock spook, and among the girls Salter gets the least amount of rate-ups.

EDIT: HOLY— Got Jalter in 16 rolls. She was so unexpected (I was trying to ticket Nitocris CE), I almost didn't notice it was a gold Avenger card. I guess, she didn't want to lose to Salter
