Oh damn, I didn't realize that they actually brought back Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson. Heck yeah!
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets. Now if only they had brought back Ayelet Zurer as well.

Ah. My mistake.
The cold never bothered me anywaySome other photos are suggesting that they might also be adapting the White Tiger storyline. All I can hope is that will have a different ending than the comics one, given that I think the image of a POC superhero being gunned down by police might be a little questionable in today's environment.

The cold never bothered me anywayThere's two ways to look at that I think.
- A POC was shot by police. This is unpleasant but real. We need to see this.
- A POC was supposed to be shot, but we revised it so it didn't happen. We can make the point and still not kill him.
Marvel can probably make a better depiction of racial prejudice than the CW at least.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I'm still not convinced that's a white tiger costume.
who do you think it is?
You and I remember Budapest very differentlyWell as far as I can see White Tiger has never had a costume that matches that design, even accomodating for the more civilian take on it. I've seen speculation that it's Muse which although again the costume design doesn't line up, does look to me as probably equally likely.
The costume is white with black stripes, that seems to be more White Tiger than Muse.
You and I remember Budapest very differentlyThey were recently shooting a fight scene at a new Josie's (they're not reusing the Turkey's Nest Tavern, Josie's of seasons 1 and 2), which means there's lots of pretty spoilery pics out there.
I'm hoping that Matt's new costume was designed by Melvin Potter.
Meanwhile, Dex's costume looks kinda like a SWAT uniform but not quite.
Though these images of Karen with blood on her face look a little troubling. Though the sight of Deborah Ann Woll cutting her birthday cake while wearing the blood makeup provides some levity.

The cold never bothered me anywayI'm not sure how I feel about Daredevil's and especially Bullseye's new costumes. I'll really have to see them in action first. I also heard they filmed different takes, so Karen with blood on her could mean different things depending on which take they use.
You and I remember Budapest very differentlyWhat was even the point of the She Hulk costume, if they're just gonna have Matt go back to something similar to the old one?
One Strip! One Strip!Marketing? Costumes usually change from project to project
You and I remember Budapest very differentlyThey can release new toys for every new look
Forever liveblogging the Avengersx4 Eh, I don't feel like this is a case of they shot a fake scene a la "The Walking Dead (2010) shooting fake death scenes for each potential Negan victim to throw off spies". I feel like Foggy getting shot makes more sense anyways. I feel this could be used to launch his "Witness Protection" story from the comics, which would be preferable to the potential of him getting Maria Hill'd. And depending on what stories are being adapted down the line, they might feel that it's better to keep Karen in the picture. Especially when the original three seasons did give Karen far more relevance than she ever had in the comics and treated her as the second most important character in the story. Watch the first three seasons, and it's very apparent how Foggy doesn't get as much focus as Matt or Karen do (episodes like "In the Blood", "Stick", "Penny and Dime", and "Karen" are where it really stands out).

The cold never bothered me anywayBased on things that Charlie Cox said at his recent Awesome Con 2024 appearance, I would say that Karen and Foggy's reappearances is probably limited to a handful of episodes tops. Likely since they didn't want to have to completely rework every bit of the plot; so they just altered enough to keep them around without having to completely scrap everything they shot last year before the strikes.
The cold never bothered me anywaySo they show up to get killed in person, opposed to getting killed off screen?
You and I remember Budapest very differentlyPretty much what was said and I assumed from the start to be honest.
New set photos of Jon Bernthal on set as Frank. Looks like Frank and Matt against Fisk's anti-vigilante squads. I think Karen's also part of the scene, seeing as Jon Bernthal shared this photo of himself, Charlie Cox and Deborah Ann Woll on his Instagram.

The cold never bothered me anywayThis isn't really a Netflix production anymore, or guaranteed to be part og the same continuity. Shouldn't there be a Daredevil Born Again thread?
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).They've confirmed it's the same continuity.
Name change to just Daredevil might be appropriate, though.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Further reinforcing this is that they've settled for going back to having Ayelet Zurer return as Vanessa Marianna Fisk (they were originally going to have Sandrine Holt play her due to Zurer's scheduling commitments when the original shoot happened). There's also some indications that Nikki M. James' role as Kirsten McDuffie might have been erased or at least largely scaled down (I think this has something to do with the decision to go back to Nelson Murdock & Page).

The cold never bothered me anywayFuck yes.
No offense to Sandrine Holt, I would certainly love to see her in the show in a different role, but I'm so glad they were able to bring Zurer back and thus have no recasts. That was the last thing that was bothering me.
Still hesitant about the writing quality simply due to D+'s track record, but at the very least all the red flags have been taken down.
