Plus, that stupid outfit
And yes, I know that it is from the comics, but that alone is no quality stamp.

If this was the Netflix Kingpin, her getting taken by police officers would only be the very start of her problems (and who knows, maybe it will be.)
"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."She probably wouldn't last 24 hours after doing that to Netflix Fisk.

The cold never bothered me anywayI love that outfit
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI will absolutely stand by that ouftit and the diamond-topped cane. It's what I'm here for.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."I love the Hawaiian-print outfit and cane. I have no gripes with those.
I don't love how dumb Hawkeye Kingpin comes across as, personally sticking his neck out just to get at Eleanor. With how crowded that final episode was to begin with, I'd have preferred Kingpin remain an Unfought Bigger Bad and the final confrontations purely involve Echo, Yelena, and the Tracksuits.
I can buy his resources and criminal empire being significantly downsized following his defeat in Daredevil Season 3 and him being stuck with a bunch of tracksuited idiots as his muscle, but Kingpin personally going out and getting into fights when he doesn't have to is silly.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! My take was that he lost most of his power and influence during the Blip, which is why he's stuck with the tracksuits and working out of that crappy office.
One wonders what became of his wife.

Incidentally, the cufflinks Kingpin wears in Hawkeye are his father's cufflinks that he wore for most of Daredevil's first season, rather than the ones he "upgraded" to after opening up to Vanessa. It seems like a deliberate detail so I'm curious what it means for the character.

Still in jail, probably.
She never went to jail. Matt and Fisk made a deal, that she would stay out of jail as long as he stays in it.
Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianIn the comics, a similar deal happens and it ends when Vanessa dies of cancer, cascading into the fantastically-titled arc Return of the King◊.
It's possible a similar ordeal happened in this continuity (like she got into a coma if you want to keep her alive).
"All you Fascists bound to lose."It would definitely be interesting to see how Matt reacts, given that Fisk is now obviously out of jail and has thus broken their agreement. He promised to come after his wife in that case.
I just really hope we can get beyond Broad Strokes at some point.

I think that Hawkeye deleted scene of Eleanor's first meeting with him in 2012 (right after the Incident, but long before the Union Allied mess) was the only point that he felt exactly like his Netflix character.

Forgot about that, but assuming Fisk got Blipped and she wasn't, perhaps she was incarcerated during the interim?

Woopdidoo, I'm hyped!

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I get why this is coming back, but out of the four Netflix series I would have preferred them in order of Iron Fist > Luke Cage > Jessica Jones > Daredevil to get another season.
It felt like both this and Jessica Jones were fairly complete, although with JJ having more interesting potential for another season.
I'd swap DD and JJ in that order, since DD had an open plot thread with Bullseye. JJ didn't have any open Plot Threads, AFAIR.
Otherwise I agree.

Doing things that don't directly contradict them but at the same time not outright acknowledging them either. I wonder what approach this show will take.
You and I remember Budapest very differentlyOh my god it's happening it's happening it's happening. EVERYONE STAY CALM.
For real, though, I am mad excited to see what Disney has in store for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. The fact that they're breaking tradition with the 6-episode format is exciting. Almost every single MCU show could have done well with more episodes (F&WS and Moon Knight come to mind especially), so the fact that we're getting 18 episodes has me intrigued, and hoping that this doesn't end up a bloated, slow mess that Obi-Wan unfortunately felt like.

I also want to know what happened with Karen after Punisher Season 2
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).
Yes, that was definitely something that the Netflix Kingpin portrayal was exceptionally good at showing - that a 6 and a half foot human wrecking ball with severe anger issues was somehow EVEN MORE dangerous mentally and in terms of influence than when crushing heads with car doors.
The more current MCU take has seemingly made him even more physically strong and tough but hasn't shown The Chessmaster elements nearly as well. He got outplayed annoyingly easily.
Edit: Kingpin - Netflix vs MCU Pagetopper.
