Does this mean no more print comics for Vol 11?
The individual Issues will be online, but you can order/buy a hardcopy tradeback.

"You can reply to this Message!"I use Comixology
well, no idea but since Comixology also deals in single issues and those will be free on their page from now on..*shrug*
"You can reply to this Message!"That is actually pretty awesome.
Given that I've basically been buying the TP Bs for everything other than Savage Sword of Dr. Dinosaur, I can't say I'll probably notice the difference in the long run.
I'm completely open to the reality that this may not be a long-term assessment.
Vol 1 Chapter 1 and 2 are out!
"You can reply to this Message!"Ooooooh!
For those who don't Patreon Tesladyne:
Traffic killed the Page. They work on it and even decided to make some improvements.
It probably be back by Monday (though without the improvements)
"You can reply to this Message!"Certainly not the worst problem you could possibly have.
Page is back and new and shiny.
And it begins with Vol. 2 #1

"You can reply to this Message!"Oh and they're with Hiveworks too. That's a good sign.
Oh really when?...*totally not an attempt to push attention*
"You can reply to this Message!"Thanks for the update. Any word on the intended frequency?
Monday-Wednesday-Friday, from the looks of it.
What the mouse said.
And one Issue each update, until all the previously published stuff is on.
No idea of they keep up with the One-Issue-Per-Update once they hit Volume 10
"You can reply to this Message!"So if we want to talk about anything regarding Atomic Robo, this is the place? All righty, in that case...
You guys know what'd be really awesome to see in the near future? An Atomic Robo series on Disney XD!
(hears cries of booooo, "who watches that channel?", "screw that noise!")
Now you're thinking that's a weird choice of channel, and yes, I myself would also expect a hypothetical Atomic Robo show on, say, Cartoon Network more than Disney XD. However, based on the status of CN's recent action shows as well as CN's apparent hatred for robots, it may be quite possible that it would have better luck at DXD rather than CN.
Plus, Disney XD's got a good bunch of action -packed shows that show no signs of being axed anytime soon. (Yeah, YMMV on what you think of the Marvel shows, but hey, they're action-y enough in my book.)
And yes, I'm fully aware of Atomic Robo's Kickstarter for a short film a few years back, but hey, who's heard anything new about it? Recently?
So I guess that leaves the million-dollar question. Who would I cast as Robo?
Honestly, I'd cast Tom Kenny using his Iron Man voice. It just sounds like it has the right tone of snark and smart-mouthed attitude that suits Robo IMO.

I'm not sure why limiting the option to Disney XD is any better than saying it's a good idea to cross Cartoon Network off the list right away.
....Mark Hamill for Dr Dinosaur.
Steve Blum for Jenkins and Helsingard.
"You can reply to this Message!"I just thought that Disney XD would be a good candidate since its action don't nearly get Screwed by the Network as CN's action shows (well, unless your show is Tron: Uprising, Motorcity, or The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. But hey, 3 cancelled action shows from Disney XD vs. 5 CN action shows that got screwed over. Don't take it as an insult, but do the math.) But actually, while I was posting my last post, it occurred to me that there's actually another candidate for a hypothetical Atomic Robo show: Netflix!
Nice taste, even though I sort of imagined Dr. Dinosaur as voiced by Charlie Adler.
Blum as Helsingard needs to happen. Hell, we need more Helsingard in general; haven't seen that guy since book 2.
As to an animated adaptation, I think the big hurdle would be rights more than channel. They seem very serious about maintaining creator control.
Since the "Science Fair" FCBD Comic came online this week on the page, Clevinger gave us 11 Facts about it on Twitter:
1 Fun Fact. Today's issue of Atomic Robo is based on a scene from our first movie pitch. They DESPERATELY wanted a kid action scientist.
2 We were like, "But that's insane. Robo wouldn't let a kid have a lightning gun." They were adamant. "Kids need a character to latch on to"
3 We were like, "How about the cool robot with a friendly face who's always on screen doing cool stuff and saying funny things?"
4 Like, that is literally why Robo looks like that. They weren't having it. We managed to talk them out of a Baby Genius. Art is compromise!
5 So @Scott_Wegna and I cooked up a scenario to get a kid involved. Science Fair; Robo as celeb judge; project stolen by villain; adventure.
6 If they insisted there HAD to be a kid, then we insisted it HAD to be a black girl. To their credit: no argument!
7 They'd have preferred a boy and that was obvious, but I think they were just relieved to have the Kid Problem solved.
8 The movie never went anywhere, but we loved the pitch, kid and all! Used it in today's FCBD and some of Volume 8.
9 The girl in the comic is not black because Scott's daughter had been pestering him for a guest spot for years and, well, there it is!
10 Also, it was Helsingard in the movie version. And Vol 8 is almost unrecognizable compared to the movie version. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
11 This was all back in 2008 or so? Yeah. Volume 3 was just coming out while we were on these calls. Good times.
"You can reply to this Message!"The last part of Ghost of Station X was just put up. Probably my favorite volume so far.
ALAN is probably the closet to a straight up Evil Counterpart of Robo.

"You can reply to this Message!"
For those who have read Atomic Robo as comic before and wonder what this thread does in the Webcomic section:
Atomic Robo turns digital
To summarize: Coming the 21st of January Atomic Robo will turn from a print and paper comic to a Webcomic, with thrice a week (Mon-Wed-Fri) update schedule.
Each of those day's we get one full issue (not a page, an issue) of the extant Atomic Robo series (starting at #1) to read, catching up on all the beforehand printed comics and then onward into Vol 10 and beyond.
I for one hope this raises profile for this awesome series of two fisted science tale's and welcome all the new filthy mammals before our untimely demise by the righteous hands of Dr Dinosaur.
