To clarify for anyone who doesn't understand (like me before reading the linked article), third-parties were only able to physically touch the console while its appearance was obscured by a box.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Somebody at Nintendo got ideas from Dune, bwahaha.
Is- is touching a console helpful in any way? I mean, a controller, that I get, but otherwise I'm not seeing how useful that would be. Well, for the Switch or Wii U I guess it would help if you get a feel for the screen or something like that, so maybe this is a really roundabout way of saying that the Switch 2 will also have a screen?
You'd be surprised to know that...yeah it actually is. From the article they mentioned the size is approximately the same as the Steam Deck from which we can theorize possible theories about its power depending on configuration and what it could fit. Seriously, a Nintendo device with the Steam Decks horsepower would be fucking amazing.
I doubt it. There's a reason Steam Deck isn't as mass produced as Switch.
Do we actually know the reason it's not mass produced? If it's a supply a lot of people have stated as that being the reason why Nintendo has delayed it so much.

And after an entire month 8 people were able to remain online in the Nintendo servers, beating out the previous Halo 2 record.
Let no one say Nintendo fans can't be stubborn.

I wonder if video game companies will eventually go back to using discs with these things.
(the Really Big Disc that can store up to 200 TB of data)
Their sales and profit actually went up, and Mario RPG sits at 3 million. Oh and TOTK continues to sell, who would have thunk? So much for "Nintendo is disappointed with TOTK sales".
Next gen announcement this fiscal year, next general Direct in June, but with no next gen info.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Then an announcement around the Tokyo Game Show in late September seems likely.
The absolute cutoff date for a release this FY, which ends in next March, is late October, like the Switch.
Considering how volatile this year's US elections will be, I wonder if it will be earlier.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Well we know SOME news is coming this year:

Hmm... seems like they are trying to repeat the Switchs launch, announcement in October, release in March, I can see it happening. Given that Pokemon Legends Z-A is supposed to release in 2025 I wonder if the successor already has its first tentpole game. Mario at launch, Prime 4 for the summer, and Pokemon for the holidays.
The successor to the switch should be announced by March 2025.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Wait, was that technically the first time Nintendo has officially, publicly acknowledged the existence of a "Nintendo Switch successor" in the works?
Maybe?
But hey, Nintendo Direct next month, LFG!
I think so, not that we didn't know one was coming eventually
Nintendo utilizes Gom Jabbar pain box to hide Switch 2 from third-party manufacturers
Normally I wouldn't care for leaks or info about the supposed Switch 2, but this actually comes from Tom's Hardware which is actually quite solid on info.
