I don't know but it looks like McCarthy was about 60-70 years too early.
Ten bucks says he'd be going after the wrong people anyway.

Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.Ain't nobody taking that bet, mate. (And, it doesn't really need to be in spoilers.)
About Pai: don't you love it when members of this administration starts visibly sweating bullets and admitting to what we knew they let happen all along? I'm waiting for him to admit that he got kickbacks from telecoms companies, now.

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. So apparently the window for the CRA expired today. Do we have any traitor Democrats to blame for this? I forget.
With due apologies to Finn and TR-8R.

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.Yes they do. Apparently at least on GA Democrat doesn't care about the will of the people.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted. The FCC wants to delay the net neutrality case set for 1 Feb because of the government shutdown.
Normally, this would be a good enough argument, I guess. But given the fuckery they pulled during the repeal process... the right thing to do is to press forward.

Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.I think the court should deny them. It's Republicans' fault for the shutdown in the first place, let them deal with the consequences.
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.Exactly. They've been playing dirty this whole time, they have no ground on which to stand.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.Like that's going to stop them.
Point is, we should go full steam ahead and push for the case to be heard on 1 Feb.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted. On that note, a judge has rejected the FCC's request to delay the case.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.I think that's a good thing? The FCC is understaffed because of the shutdown.
It feels good to screw them back.

Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.Pai could probably argue that the reason big telecom haven't invested as "promised" is because his net neutrality repeal is threatened, and they need to be fully certain to be delivered from such fetters before they can invest.
They'll totally invest once all the cases against him are thrown out of court, promise!
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Don't give them ideas.
and
I'm in three minds. Giving these clowns ideas is, on the one hand, not good. On the other, they do kind of need the help in how to do Bad Guy things properly. On the gripping hand, even when they do do Bad Things, they're usually so ham-fiercely awful at the implementation of them that, even when they do suddenly find ideas that should, in theory, work, those ideas are likely to explode in their faces leaving a web of party-popper-like streamers of evidence for investigators to track — so, there's no real point in worrying about handing them advice.

I doubt they're going to get ideas from a TV tropes thread, it's not like they have a problem thinking up lies on their own.

Why am I not surprised? Is it because Putin is the kind of Authoritarian would try to kill the internet for what it represents? Is it because Trump is so buddy buddy with him that there is an on going investigation because of it? Is it nostalgia for a time where it didn't exist? beats me.
Ah pagetoppers...
