Definatly a better third-person shooter in cartoony action than Sunset Overdrive so far.
Going on my list for sure. Hopefully there will be some customization options for your characters.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceSomething to note, the trailer from the Digital Event shows a Red vs. Blue vs. Yellow battle.
I never thought I'd want a Wii U so badly in my life, or that a Nintendo-made shooter would be directly responsible for my want. Between this, Yoshi's Woolly World, the new Kirby game, and Captain Toad's Treasure Hunt, the future's looking very bright for Nintendo.
This looks really cute. Not many shooters are like that nowadays, so interested.
Soooo...how crazy would it be to expect a Squid Girl cameo?
Well, the creator of the character drew fan art of Splatoon, so it's possible.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project...I wonder how likely TF 2-esque hats would be in the final product. Actually inserting Mario or whatever into the game would cheapen it's status as a unique IP, but the ability to wear, say, Majora's Mask or the horned Villager hat might be a cute extra.
...Possibly it would be cool if you can get hats like that.
They said they are working on having customizable options but they still want the tentacles that hang down but they could implement customization in the form of those hats.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureBecause she's not popular, she'll join the paintball wars
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Ink Cthulhu is gonna make an appearance in the single player mode.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Once upon a time, there were these squid-people known as the Inklings.
One day, some of the inklings decided it would be better if all the world matched up with their favorite color. The other inklings didn't take kindly to this idea.
And so the events of Splatoon began.
but what about the cat

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectFound something hilarious on Tumblr: Splatoon◊ compared to Halo◊ and Call of Duty.◊
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.33:33? Valve joke!
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."If there isn't a ton of Octodad crossover fanart with this game, I will be exceedingly unhappy.
"We're home, Chewie."What about the cat? All I know about 'the cat' is that there is apparently a cat. I wouldn't even know that much if it weren't mentioned in this thread.
The cat announces who won the match. He holds up a little flag of the winning team's color. He also has the shape of a bow tie in his fur and is generally adorable.
I'm suspecting he's some sort of Director-like figure pitting the Inklings against each other for his own amusement.
"We're home, Chewie."I figure the cat has an agenda that will become revealed in the Single Player for the final release of the game :D
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! Can't argue with that math, really.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI would argue that the Codename Kids Next Door inclusion must have a net value of zero, since the style of the game is adequately represented by Nickelodeon and the Super Soaker.
Also, the anime reference would also be net zero, if it weren't for the fact that the human designs do look a lot like it.
I don't think it's so much talking about anime in general as much as it is the specific anime in question.

I'm certainly going to be buying this! It looks fun and cool, and I want to support Nintendo's Newer IP's.
Can't wait for it to come out!
