Musk vs Gordan Gekko.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).If by "gentlewoman pirate" you mean "upper class rich thriller seeker who regularly travels around the world to steal ancient artifacts from the hands of their rightful native owners, museums, criminal gangs or secret government vaults and cold-bloodedly slaughters their way through any people and wild animals - no matter how endangerednote - that stand in their way, for no reason other than personal sense of glory and avarice", then yes. Especially the first incarnation of the character. The more immoral parts of that were toned down in later incarnations, thankfully.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. While I absolutely get why they use contempory modern-day figures sometimes, I just don't enjoy those battles. IDK, something about them being real, currently-existing people with significant influence on the world (often for the worse) makes it less fun. In my opinion Jobs vs Gates is made far better by Hal's surprise appearance, and Trump / Scrooge was kind of fun for basically being a re-imagining of Christmas Carol, but is rather less enjoyable in hindsight. I have little nice to say about the other ones
Oh yeah, Trump vs Scrooge might be the ERB that has aged the worst. Not just for Trump, but West, also.
The best part of Obama/Romney is Lincoln.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI was fine with Biden vs Trump and Trump vs Hilary personally.
They're plenty of fun and life can't all be misery and seriousness.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024)." since in the interim Zuckerberg has gotten, if anything, less "interesting," whereas of Musk, to put it mildly, the same can't be said."
Really? I mean the faliure of Meta said otherwise. Since it really show as the kind of guy with not idea whatsoever of what people want.
I think the issue since tweeter musk have generate foolery after foolery at rapid speed
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Shame ERB didn't get to this one.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Oppenheimer's curbstomp on Thanos was already a triumph.
Fresh-eyed movie blogTrue enough. What's a pink doll compared to the Mad Titan?
I may wind up on a watchlist for this, but this vid was the biggest communtist victory since the Somali coup in '69.

I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117It feels good to be back. As for the battle, honestly, the winner for this matchup was gonna be obvious from the get-go, but at the very least, Marx definitely earned his victory with all those burns per verse.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Ford came out swinging with a pretty vicious opening verse, but Marx's final verse was lethal. It's pretty hard to get past Ford having connections to Hitler's regime.
Also, it's nice to have a battle of actual historical figures and not contemporary celebrities and politicians.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! You know, Trump vs Scrooge is one of the weirdest-aged videos they've ever made, since it's a Christmas Carol adaptation that used pre-President Trump as Marley and pre-Republican Kanye West as Ghost of Christmas Present.
Honestly, I think it's still pretty good as a Christmas Carol adaptation, it has just aged unbelievably bizarrely. When Trump was President, I couldn't even bring myself to rewatch it, but now that he's out (and hopefully will stay out), I can appreciate it as a Christmas Carol adaptation that just became unbelievably dated.
The comment section is hilarious, just people making jokes about how weirdly it has aged. My favorite one is "Death being the least problematic person in this video speaks volumes".
EDIT: Huh, looking back at the top of this page, it's funny how different my opinion was at the start of this year.

Is Morgans very problematic? I mean, he is a capitalist, but I dunno, the verse made him sound at least somewhat nice?
Secret SignatureI feel like more people have a reason to hate death than capitalism, personally, but I get it.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Pffffffft
-respectful nod-

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I appreciated the respectful lack of a funny sound effect for the article referencing Stan Lee's death.
Before the Civil War and abolition of slavery, his banks had no problem granting loans to slave-operated plantations, including treating the slaves themselves as property to be financially held as collateral. Morgan himself did not personally own slaves as far as I'm aware, though he did indirectly contribute to the practice.
That's the biggest skeleton in his closet that I'm aware of. Other than that he was basically just the prime example of a late-1800's shrewd business magnate, for better and for worse; gobbling up competing businesses, seeing every crisis as a financial opportunity, creating job opportunities, having poor labor standards, fixing some problems in the economy while causing other problems, etc.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! The next ERB is here: Godzilla vs. Kong 1.5!
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Did... did Godzilla just lose.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I was surprised by how much I liked this one. But nah, I think Godzilla took this one home.
Kinda wish there was a Blue Oyster Cult reference in there, even just a "there goes Tokyo" or something.
Favorite Godzilla line: "You couldn't measure up to the Shin of Godzilla"
Favorite Kong line: "I'm an oxygen destroyer, and now you're O-2"

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I was pleasantly surprised that they got Kong and Godzilla's relative sizes right.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I appreciate they used CG as opposed to cheap live action costumes. Makes me wish Lloyd and Nice Peter branched out into other media sooner.
Also, it would be unfair since in the interim Zuckerberg has gotten, if anything, less "interesting," whereas of Musk, to put it mildly, the same can't be said.
My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger.
