After what usually happens to a network when management shifts, we're naturally going to be worried.

She has history with the brand, unlike Snyder who had a dim view of animation in general (and its ability to get good ratings, which is why he tried to play follow the leader against Disney and Nick, culminating, of course, in the permanent red link block). I'd say this is a good thing.

As long as Regular Show and Steven Universe stay, I'm happy. Really hoping Long Live the Royals gets picked up. Want to see character development for Alaster.

I've never understood the obsession people have with Toonami. I mean, yeah, I guess back in the day when it was where people discovered anime, sure, whatever, but we have the intermanets now, where you can find literally every Japanimation that ever existed, and even a few that don't exist, whenever you want and all at the click of a button.

Forgot about that,also because Toonami runs older action CN shows(Beware the bat,Sym Bionic Titan and Thundercats remake).

New Thundercats was pretty "Meh". I wonder if they even attempted to make new episodes for Toonami.

Waaaay to expensive for the amount of money Williams Street could put up for it.

The Street's budget has to be increasing from the whole "you four guys can do this in your spare time" that we heard about when the block was first revived in 2012. I mean, they've launched an original anime series since then, though how much of the backing came from CN and how much from Tokyo MX is unclear.

Toonami simply have broadcasting rights of Space Dandy, Cartoon Netowrk didn't fund it like they did Big O or IGPX.

First of all,

1.) It's called ANIME, not Japanimation which you say more than once

2.) This new Toonami offers more anime titles on TV, where more people who aren't liable to discover titles online or elsewhere can be introduced to them!

So we now know who is replacing Snyder glad to know. Hopefully things turn out better than when he was in charge. Like maybe getting some more action cartoons. But for now I just hope Steven Universe gets treated better than it is currently and that the new PPG show does well and that Christina Miller does well being the head of the network.

I agree, as long as we all understand each other I feel it unnecessary to get hung up on terminology. Also he was clearly bring playful with his syntax anyway. This is coming from a fan of the medium.

If we're really going to be terminological anyway, all animation is anime, as in Japan they don't really make that destinction. Anime is just that, animation.

Ya think the Turner people could consider a collaboration with Tecmo Koei for CN Warriors-type game? That idea had a while a go was something random I came up with, but I'd be all for it.

Or Netherrealm (Mortal Kombat, Injustice: Gods Among Us) because of being owned by Warner Bros. studio.
