A lot of the King Arthur mythos was pretty tame compared to even some contemporary stories. It was mostly a story about a knightly king doing knightly and kingly stuff, with the occasional "and then a witch cursed someone to follow a quest forever." Excalibur couldn't shoot out laser beams, for example. Hell, even making it invisible was a pretty big power boost for Fate.
I suppose the real question is, whatever it is that Maya expects Allison to do, why didn't she herself do it long ago?

Well, someone had to end up as Solomon's heir, right?
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Yeah, that's been set up since page 1 of White Chain's presence. Nice payoff.

How does White Chain know what a republic is? How do any of them?
I think there’s a global conspiracy to see who can get the most clicks on the worst liesWhy wouldn't they? The general idea isn't that hard to come up with.
The demiurgs have probably chewed up and spat out quite a lot of them over the years.
Where did she get that shard again?
It was inside of her. Here she starts feeling it, here she pops it out and then there's the whole rejection of Jadis' help and self apotheosis she does using it.

Aww, poor Allison.
"You can reply to this Message!"Poor Cio.
I think there’s a global conspiracy to see who can get the most clicks on the worst liesThat thing is the remains of Cio's flame.
I do understand in a way that Allison is doing this to prevent Cio from getting hurt in the coming conflict again, but wasn't Cio critical in the tripartite fusion from the previous book?
So no, I don't think this will be the last we see of this devil.
It's the standard angsty hero trope where "I have to push my friends away to keep them safe!" and in the end, learns to trust their friends.
I think there’s a global conspiracy to see who can get the most clicks on the worst liesOne day, I have to find one of these co-ed bathhouses.

King Arthur's spear Rhongomyniad, regardless of the power scaling F/GO gave it, in the original Welsh stories was only "sacred" in how Arthur believed that God gave it to him. Otherwise it was only really really good in skewering people.
Compare this to the Ulster Cycle's stabby stuff, and it's quaint by comparison.
