Doesn't she provides the female voices when he does those voice skits in a couple of his videos?

I think i saw her in person exactly once in his videos. Then again, i wasn't watching them all.

I didn't even know about her until the announcement. (I only peruse Gigguk's content casually.)

Saying she can’t emote and is boring for it is sexist in the same way as saying you should smile more to a woman is.

I never think in any political, sexist, racist, or whatever, way. I think purely from an critical standpoint of the quality of a piece of work, whether it be acting, or humor. Sydney being a woman has absolutely nothing ever to do with what my point is. If Sydney made those videos and it was GIGGUK who was in cameos acting in the exact same way, I would've made that same comment.

I mean, it's not like kyun singled out her being a woman as a reason for those things. No mention was made about her gender, just a mention that it didn't feel like she was emoting much on Gigguk's videos. I don't see what's inherently sexist about that.

From what I get, anime is becoming increasingly expensive to produce, so the studios are increasingly reluctant to take risks. And not just artistic risks − producing a 100-episode series like Legend of the Galactic Heroes without any well-established franchise to back it up would be unthinkable nowadays.

Again, both him and Mother's Basement put out videos in a day both having around the same opinions and messages. Almost word for word.

You mean MB's "anime you probably missed in 2018" video? Not really, no… Geoff mentionned watching old anime in the intro and the fact that some great anime are too quickly forgotten, but that's about it.

They both suggest catching up on your backlog of classic anime for the sole reason that this season isn't too impressive.

...by that metric, every video with a content disclaimer at the beginning carries the same opinions and messages as well. Since they all tell you to beware when watching their videos at the start.

I feel this tier list is biased towards Tsunderes

I assume it's because a Tsundere's core concept allows for that character to both cause conflict and grow as a person due to their flaws, which typically make for easily compelling characters. Add the requite titillation and the bias makes sense.
