His battle form looks way too cool for this kind of manga
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Tbh it's a massive improvement over the authors previous series akame ga kill. Like everything has been toned down from the stuff people hated from that. No graphic violence and rape. Or just the general edginess of that. And the fight scenes are pretty good
Feel it May end up the new high school d x d In terms of being the creme del la creme of Echo manga/anime.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."That not even his coolest form
E.T technically is a Isekai moviex2 In terms of plotting and writing yes. I think the character quality took a big hit from AgK since it's doubling down on the harem elements. Kyouka also doesn't endear me nearly as much as Esdeath did, despite being an expy of her.
At least it continues the tradition of Takahiro manga giving the protagonist badass monster forms.
While I agree Kyouga is the blandest among the girls (which is something very common in the harem genre), I don't know what you see in her that is similar to Esdeath. Like they literally have nothing incommon beside both often wear military uniform.

E.T technically is a Isekai movieSame. Logically speaking shouldn't she be compared to Akame?
I would say she is a mix of Akane and Mein. She certainly less emotionless than Akane.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieI meant that they're both the main female character.
Oh I was talking about their personalities.
E.T technically is a Isekai moviex6 looks like that MC Digimon from Frontiers
If you can't handle being outed by a signature, that's on you.Against my better judgement I ended checking it out and, not gonna lie, it's actually really good.
The fight scenes in particular are much better than they have any right to be, and could carry the manga on its own even without the fanservice elements.
As for those, all I'll say is: I read a lot of good hentai that wasn't this hot. For the sake of propriety I'll leave it at that.
I wouldn't say the manga focuses on the male lead in any way, he's mostly there as something of a anchoring point for the story to have a better sense of focus and progression, it's the girls who truly carry the narrative.
Not that this is some award-level writing or anything, but as Gigguk put it, it does just enough to keep you interested even after post-nut clarity hits.
So in summation: it's trash, but it's gourmet trash.

El sexo es temporal. LA PENITENCIA ES ETERNA!If Kyouka isn't like Esdeath I consider that a plus. That character just irritated me.
Was it the overpoweredness that basically meant she could do whatever she wants with no set-backs?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I hate the waifu bait traits that her simps go wild for when it's on a character who's introduction is how to better torture someone.
Both of you got it.
Waifu bait traits?
If that matters any, there hasn't been anything even approaching that edgy in the 100+ currently available chapters of the manga thus far.
Also, side-note: the obligatory loli/little sister character is never in any way sexualized by the manga, she exist entirely to be cute and that's it.
You might argue that's a low bar, but I can think of far more ambitious or otherwise "respectable" stories that nonetheless fail to reach that, so I believe it is worthy of note nonetheless.

El sexo es temporal. LA PENITENCIA ES ETERNA!
Woman who killed tens of thousands and have zero problem torturing innocent people.
There are still simps to this day wanting Tatsumi to be with Esdeath, even after she killer several of his comrades.

I must politely ask you to put those images in a folder, TVT really blows up the size of any picture you put on a post.
El sexo es temporal. LA PENITENCIA ES ETERNA!It is a very uh "anime" way of writing women.
The whole "she's tough with anyone else but with the man she loves she's reduced to a blushing delicate maiden" and all that gap moe stuff.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Her crush on Tatsumi was the one trait I didn't like about her. I don't have a problem with her having waifu bait traits in and of itself though, and the fact that she's a sadistic war criminal makes it even better for me.
I am all for women's wrongs.
Not gonna excuse it, but Yaoi Guys are often written in a similar manner, so at the very least, women in Japanese media aren't the only ones that tend to be written that way.
Watch SymphogearI can also confirm the same is true for Yuri characters.
No, not a new video but really old one.
There are Gigguk videos that I revisit from time to time and this is one of them, especially the final five minutes:
This year, I watched a LOT of anime, perhaps more than I ever did in years. Among them are Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Mob Psycho 100 Season 3...and yeah, both of the works have great endings. And boy howdy, I really will never, ever forget them.
As a professional writer who is serializing a fairly long running webnovel - it's over 700 chapters right now, oh freaking God how did it get to this point - that is at its final arc. Whenever I feel like calling it quits, and that happens a lot, I remember what Gigguk said about the power of great endings.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.
Because it's a battle harem in the same vein as Infinity Stratos, the plot is an excuse to explain why the MC is surrounded by all of these hot babes. I don't think there any other male character beside the MC and the gender equality stuff ever been bring up after the first few chapters. And the MC is a vehicle, both literally and figuratively, for the author to show female characters in lewd situations.
