I've read the original comic, but the whole thing does take a slightly different turn hearing a thick Russian accent coming from Superman.
Is it safe to create a page for the movie? I have some interesting facts to put on the trivia page, mainly things like Role Reprise and Playing Against Type .

If you scroll down a bit, it shows a new clip for Superman: Red Son. It also shows an image at the end of the trailer. The movie is apparently rated R when the first trailer said PG-13.

It comes out May 18 in the UK. Given that UK releases are generally a day before the US, it'll most likely be released in the US on May 19.

James Tucker mentions how there would've been a third in-continuity Teen Titans movie, but they didn't get the opportunity to. Based on what he said, it looks like there would've been more screentime for the Titans shown in the Judas Contract opening flashback.

Bruce Timm said on toonzone (as b.t.) that having the first DC Universe movie be a condensed adaptation of The Death Of Superman was mainly brought on by the higher ups of the DVD department. They weren't willing to fund a 2 part DVD as the first in the line. At the sand time, he didn't want to cram a bunch of characters who would ultimately be little more than cameos. As such, he and the team did all that they could.
The voice cast for Superman: Man Of Tomorrow has been revealed.
"Darren Criss, who can be seen on Netflix this weekend starring in Ryan Murphy's new drama Hollywood, will lead the Superman: Man of Tomorrow cast as the big blue boy scout himself. Zachary Quinto, who got his start playing the murderous supervillain Sylar on NBC's Heroes, will here voice one of the greatest supervillains of all time: Lex Luthor. Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas) will voice Lois Lane.

I think this is the first DC Universe movie since Justice League Vs Teen Titans to not have a role reprisal.

As it turns out, there is a role reprisal. Ike Amadi previously voiced Martian Manhunter in Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

Well, they made the most out of this being the final entry in the N52 DC Animated Universe, with swift and brutish deaths for a lot of characters, some of which don't even get proper intros, and other heroes transformed against their will into cyberised slaves, it's almost as if Dan Didio wet dreamed this into existence. The peaches on the cream came when the whole thing is solved by Another Flashpoint to set up the next series of films. I can't really complain seeing as this allows them to erase the painfully unnatural and forced Damien/Raven pairing as soon as they solidify it]

Kind of a psychotic way to end your universe, but I gotta give 'em props for at least swinging for the fences.
As for the trailer, it's pretty cool that it was released one day after writer JM De Matteis' 66th birthday.
