I lost interest the instant they went and changed the outfit a much as they did. If you cant at least be faithful to the LOOK, how the hell are you going to be faithful to ANYTHING?
He actually kind of looks like evil superman from Injustice.
nyo ho hoThe whole "DC is light and happy, Marvel is dark and broody" thing has been moot for decades now.

The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.Yeah the 90's made everyone dark and gritty, and DC are doing their damnedest to relive those days.
There was a time in my life I had dignity, a time before the giant monster corgi.Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
For the only company big enough to rival MARVEL, DC sure has been doing a spotty job with their movies. I suppose it doesn't help that they do not run their own studio, like MARVEL has since 2008.
from the look of things, MOS will be this years TDKR
still going to see it myself tho
Here's rob's post cuz why the hell not:

Nolan had a massive hit with the first two Batman'sm but that's it
Um, Inception. Memento. The Prestige.
Okay Inception yes, the other two, I wouldn't really call major hits. Successes yes, major ones, not really. And none were movies I really got into,
I liked The Prestige. Didn't really look like an awesome blockbuster that absolutely everyone would have rushed to see in theaters, but it was a pretty good film about stage magic.
Haven't even heard of Memento.

But that's a story for another time.Nolan can make good and bad films is the gist of it
I didnt even think TDKR was that bad, just okay, but I loved every other movie I have seen of his
The gist is he liked the episode, but thought the Kataang stuff was cliche.
Thankfully, it's put off until that tunnel episode in season 2.
Yeah, that destiny stuff was kinda lame. Hopefully he'll like the later episodes, though he probably won't because it was usually mostly on Aang's side.
For a second though, I thought he was going to say that maybe the story will lead into her liking Zuko since he's a powerful bender.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Even then, up till the season 2 finale it's pretty down played. Even then, while they do care about each other, it's never really focused on past Aang's inability to let go. Which I really liked. Then they had to go and screw that up with Korra.
Uh what? Season 2 and 3 continues to have quite a bit of focus on Zuko.
The resemblance does go a way toward explaining his fondness for the late Mr. Ebert.
But that's a story for another time.Holy crap that is such a likeness.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987So he hates it. Damn you Liar Revealed.
I think it was due more to the OOC nature of the whole scenario.
Looking for some stories?Honestly, I've never really liked that episode too much myself, particularly because of all that OOC stuff...but I never actually realized how lazily written the episode truly is. (I mean, I've always thought it was kinda lazily done, but seriously.)
I mean, really, people hate "The Great Divide" but don't think this one is just as bad if not worse?
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.
Heavens, no. Smallville became a runway shoot for DCU characters, with Clark as the emcee. I hated it, but the fanboys were going bananas.
I'm a skeptical squirrel
