All Purpose Megami Tensei / Persona Fanfiction Thread

Suddenly had the thought of writing a Trinity Soul crack fic where Shin has the Tohno gland and is a ladie's man.

And he finds out that his old man was formerly one in his younger days.

That Kamen Rider / Shin Megami Tensei idea I've been talking about for years. I've been doing research by watching lots of Rider shows (Golgom riot POLITICAL STATEMENT) and checking out some stuff from Shin Megami Tensei as well.

I finished Devil Survivor 2 and Digital Devil Saga (the first part) and will be checking out the Part Two soon enough. I am also taking of checking out both version of Persona 2 as well, and maybe even the very first Shin Megami Tensei.

Meanwhile, some vague ideas have been forming. There's still some stuff I need to check out before I do it, so it's a long time away, but I haven't given up on it.

Whatever stuff Persona 5 has is good fanfic material. Just that I can't spoil everything since the game's out in Asia for a few days now.

Now that 5 is out, soon, I'll have everything I need for the Shin Megami Tensei / Kamen Rider fic I've been planning. I've gone through a number of games in the overall series, and have watched quite a few Kamen Rider series (mostly heisei I'm also checked out both Kamen Rider Black, and it's sequel Kamen Rider Black RX).

I still need to get through Soul Hackers, then I'll do Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne. By the time I'm done there, I should be ready for 5 and whatever it has to offer.

So, do you watch Double?

Oh yeah. I watched all of Double (the series, and all the movies).

I've also been watching all of Neo Heisei since episode 3 or 4 of Fourze (so I'm currently into Ghost) went back and watched OOO's and those first few eps of Fourze I missed, Caught Kuuga and Alito, Faiz, Kiva, had already and had already watched Ryuki years earlier.

I got a lot to work with truthfully.

Bet that's gonna be a lot of work.

It is. I haven't written much down yet, and I'm also working on another idea I have (that actually does have some stuff written down but is still only just starting), and there's still stuff I want to look at as well.

But I feel a little closer to it every day. I hope to actually do it one day.

I dunno if it's me, but I can't seem to shake the idea of a fic with Akira (P5 Protag) getting paired with Sae Nijima.

He already has an official name?

I'd be open to Munehisa x Potter to be honest.

I can't really pair him with any of the other male characters.

Sae is hot though. Especially goth Shadow Sae.

Hmm. Then he'll probably have a different name for any other adaptations.

After all, do we know that other dude better as Souji Seta or Yu Narukami?

Actually, I recognize him as Seta Souji (from the fanfic Persona 4: Face Every Shadow, and yes, with Seta as his first name and Souji as his last name) as much as I do Yu Narukami.

Although the P3 dude will always be Minato Arisato in my mind.

I've been reading a Persona fic which draws heavily from Persona 4's setting and lore, sharing a few Jo Jo references on the way, but which variates through different events, characters and conclusions. While I usually prefer fics with non OCs, they were reasonably well written on this case.

Hello.
I have an idea of a crossover fanfiction between Shin Megami Tensei and High School Dx D. The working title is SMT x HS Dx D: Demonic Vessel. The fic would feature characters from both Devil Survivor games, Raidou Kuzunohavs The Soulless Army, Shin Megami Tensei IV and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, as well as the entire cast of Highschool Dx D and original characters representing both franchises.\\\ The story would follow the Record Breaker ending from Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker, where Hibiki Kuze (the name for DV 2 protagonist I'll be going with for the story) with the DV 2 cast created an Administrator-free world. But, mystical beings like Angels, Demons and such still exist. As a result, JP's exists even in this world, with Yamato and Miyako Hotsuin at the helm.
In the aftermath of Tokyo Lockdown (otherwise known in Heaven and Underworld as War of Bel), Yamato is forced to enlist the help of Devil Summoners from Kuzunoha Village. One of them is Shinji Ebihara, a newly appointed Geirin Kuzunoha the XXIII and the titular "Demonic Vessel".
[Explanation: Shinji is called "Demonic Vessel" due to his unique ability to borrow the power from demons by willingly allowing them to possess his body with no side effects and remaining in full control over his body, aside from borrowing demons' character tics, for ex. Jack Frost's Verbal Tic. During the story, his default demon possessing his body is Tyrant Amon, with whom Shinji had to make a contract to save both from dying.]

Due to his age, Shinji is the perfect candidate for a special mission from Yamato. He will infiltrate an academy in Kuoh, posing as a New Transfer Student. There, he would have to investigate supernatural activity (and prevent potential second War of Bel if needed) and look for one of the mythical weapons called "Longinus" before someone else does...
As you may guess, the story would follow the events of Highschool Dx D, but with Shin Megami Tensei flair. You can expect Demon Negotiations, conflict between Law and Chaos in form of Exorcists vs Gaeans, battle with tough demons (including Fiends, Alice with Nebiros and Belial, etc.) and more. The story would feature new story arcs and new locations, including the Dark Realm and Cathedral of Shadows.

Some characters would undergo some changes in the story. Some will receive Age Lift, Adaptational Badass, Spared by the Adaptation or all of the above. For example, Asahi is seventeen in this story, becomes a much more capable Demon Tamer due to Shinji's guidance and doesn't die to Shesha like in Apocalypse. Also, as a major plot point, Raynare survives her canonical death and receives a huge power boost thanks to the Divine Powers (yes, they exist in this story).

So, what do you guys think? If you want more details, I'm happy to give them to you. And, feel free to point out potential Fridge Logic and other plot holes.
