Calling it; Mikkelsen is the villain.
Looking for some stories?HAL is doing a voice in Kung Fu Panda? I've never been more excited for a film about fighting pandas.

http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpThere's definitely an opportunity for a Kung-Fu Panda sequel seeing as Po's family is revealed to be alive at the end. Also, a lot of fans think Tai Lung is alive so they could have him as well. Po's had some character growth but he still has a lot to learn so there's more than enough potential for 3. I have high hopes.
Tai Lung pretty much became dust, man
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEEI AM EXITE
Ah, I see Dreamworks felt like getting a license to print yuan again... :)
^^^ The Legends Of Awesomeness series was hinting at some kind of survival.

#IceBearForPresidentYeah, using fucking advanced necromancy. I wasn't kidding about him being dust.
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEEPlease don't bring Tai Lung back. His story is finished and the second movie managed just fine without him. I'd prefer variety.
I agree with this. Tai Lung had a good backstory and a solid character, but it was finished, he died. End of story.
I was much more interested in Lord Shen, either way.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Unless the new crew has radically different opinion from the original one, the probability of Tai Lung being dead is 0%. You don't pick the finishing move on the criteria of being hardcore enough to make the villain admit his loss, if the villain is supposed to be killed by this move. And that's what they did according to the DVD commentary. More importantly, you don't derail your main character into making a killing attack with a joke, particularly when he is not even angry at the villain.
That said, I don't think that Tai Lung will reappear until about the final movie they had in mind when planning the sequels.
And Legends of Awesomeness is irrelevant as a proof either way (unless Tai Lung appears personally, and possibly not even them). It is full of stupid crap that can't be reconciled with the movies and itself.
Yeah there's no way that Po killed Tai Lung like that. They have been really unclear about his fate. My guess is that they have plans for him in the next movie or something.
This is the first Kung Fu Panda movie to be animated by Dreamwork's Chinese branch. Fits naturally.
And then it turns out to be worst movie ever
They animated on Puss In Boots and there's practically no difference in quality. I think they'll do fine.
Wasn't that the India branch?
Looking for some stories?Actually, there's supposed to be a supernatural element in this, so Tai Lung coming back through necromancy isn't entirely implausible...
Honestly, I really don't want him to come back though. Not unless he pulls a Heel–Face Turn and has some kind of redemption plot. Him being the villain again would just be a cop-out. I want some new badass villain to gush over.
And as a general rule, don't accept Legends Of Awesomeness as canon. Ever.

I'm excited. I like the first two, I like Bryan Cranston and Mads Mikkelsen, and it sounds like they'll be using the "lost parent as secondary antagonist" plot that HTTYD 2 was stupid to drop.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Isn't that the Dragon from that one Legend of Awesomeness Episode? I don't think I actually saw anything new in those paintings...

(Original thread title "Kung Fu Panda 3")
The movie is still a ways off, but we've got some new info today!
The film will be released December 23, 2015 (moved up from its former 2016 release date)
Also Bryan Cranston, Mads Mikkelsen, and Rebel Wilson have been cast as new characters.
