He kind of still does.
It's more electro house now with a heavy pop element to it.
EDIT: I just referred to David Guetta with the "it" pronoun. We now have proof he's a machine.

First of all, "Sweet Nothing" is by Calvin Harris. David Guetta isn't involved.
Second of all, "Sweet Nothing" doesn't have dubstep. I ink it's a guitar that you hear.
Also, even if "Right Now" is formulaic, it's more dubstep than "I Know You Were Trouble".
Just wanted you to know.
I adore Sweet Nothing.
I dislike Guetta. He's part of the reason modern dance music is so soulless and samey.
Which is why I really hope Daft Punk's new album will change things in dance music. It desperately needs a reboot.
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. That was a slip-up I made, I was tired. My mistake. And I don't mind that song, but it's hard to deny that it sounds like half the other songs on the radio right now.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. That's all right. Although "Sweet Nothing" falls into the formula, I dig the guitar riff, and I love Florence.
David Guetta and Calvin Harris are both interesting, since they have lots of similarities (European DJs who produce features for various artists for radio play), yet there are plenty of differences (Harris is slightly more dignified with his lyrics, with Guetta being more sexual and crude, and Harris tends to keep his features closer to the British Isle, with Guetta liking America.)

Does David Guetta even write the lyrics? I thought he just produced the backrgound music?
According to Wikipedia, he co-writes most of his songs.
Another observation: Calvin Harris has less "cooks" working on a song.

Writing the music counts as cowriting.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle."Can't Hold Us" just reached #1 on the Hot 100, so Macklemore just became the first rapper to send his first two chart entries to #1 since P. Diddy in '97. I'm extremely happy for Macklemore getting the success he completely deserves.
No new top 10 entries this week. Florida George Line's "Cruise" re-enters, while "Suit & Tie" drops out. JT's follow-up "Mirrors" rises to #3 and unless something makes a surprise jump to the top "Harlem Shake"-style I'm sure it'll top the Hot 100 in a few weeks.
On a related note, "Same Love" (another Macklemore song) is getting a lot of airplay on one of my local rock stations despite being a rap song. I'm very surprised.
Well, that's another sign that Macklemore and Ryan Lewis won't just be a One-Hit Wonder act. For indie label artists, they're raising the bar.
Ugh, I hate Mirrors. It's even worse when it's on Pandora, which uses the eight goddamned minutes version.
Yeah, it just seems really boring to me. Like when I first heard it I thought I heard the song before. Also I hate that all of Justin Timberlake's songs are really long on the album version. "What Goes Around" is almost 8 minutes and I think the entire 4 minute song "Summer Love" is a prelude to another song!
Has anyone heard Selena Gomez's "Come and Get It"?
It's really good and one of the better pop songs released this year.

"Can't Hold Us" stays at #1 this week. Selena Gomez's "Come & Get It" reaches the top 10 while "Feel This Moment" drops out.
Avril Lavigne's "Here's To Never Growing Up" made a massive jump this week into the top 30. I think the song will be huge this summer.
Since nobody beat me this time...
"Can't Hold Us" remains #1. The Top 5 stayed static, but the next five reshuffled. "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk feat. Pharrell Williams entered #10 due to their album release, marking a golden achievement for the band.
Another song that Pharrell featured on, "Blurred Lines", hit #12.
On a minor note, "Clarity" by Zedd feat. Foxes entered the Top 40 at #30, and I caught it once on local pop radio, playing after Ke$ha's "Crazy Kids" and "Get Lucky". Also, "Young and Beautiful" by Lana Del Rey jumped to #22 via digital sales.
I'll be happy when "Over The Love" gets big.
Anyway, I sort of like "Come And Get It".
I didn't even know Ke$ha had a new single.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. She does, but she seems to have more trouble replicating the iconicness of her first two major releases. It's not that her latest album is bad (it has some great tracks like "Dirty Love"), it's just that it looks like a slightly different direction didn't help her.
In other news, "Clouds" by Zach Sobiech is expected to go Top 20. Sadly, it's because he died of cancer.
Honestly, "Dirty Love" is one of the few songs by her I can actually say I legitimately like. (The other one is "Your Love is My Drug"—though mostly for the "I like your beard"—and "TiK ToK" is a guilty pleasure. Can't really stand the rest of her music.)
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Kesha's mom wrote a single for Dolly Parton before Kesha was born. Very odd.
Wait, what?
