I've spent the last couple of weeks downloading every episode and movie of Gokaiger and i'm up to episode 10 so far. It's my first time watch Sentai and so far i'm liking it better than any Power Rangers i've seen!
Is Gobusters worth a watch?

Can't give an accurate opinion of Go-Busters. I dropped it when I accidentally fell behind due to school. I enjoyed what I saw of it at least.

I might give it go once i've finished Gokaiger. 4 more episodes to go and then i'm on the 199 Heroes movie! I'm loving every second of it.
Personally I dropped Gokaiger around episode 22 though admittedly that is due to falling behind on that as well.
I'm coming up on episode 22 now. Like i said before, i'm loving it. Every. Damn. Second. Watched 199 Heroes last night and tonight i will watch The Flying Ghost Ship.
The last episode i saw was Gai getting Gold Mode.
I love the random english they say now and then. Like Barizorg saying "Yes, Boss" or Luka's "Unbelievable" when she see's Gai's Go-On Wings Hybrid.
Loved Gokaiger, was a total blast.
Not seen much of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. Not a fan of the design of the costumes or the giant robot honestly.

I still get confused with that name. It makes me think of Season One Power Ragners too much.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatYeah...
Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger
Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger
And yet it was Go-Busters who had all the MMPR references...
x3
Eh. They are better than previous dinosaur themed outfits in my opinion.

Speaking as a 90's kid, not the Zyu-suits.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatEh. I don't let nostalgia decide for me. Personally I would rank the suites in reverse order for the dinosaur series going from greatest to least.

Meh, Zyu suits weren't particularly amazing, but I liked the helmets.
Kyoryuger helmets are kinda weird but nice, but I dislike the Charlie Brown design of the shirt. And having just ultra minimalistic shoulderpad is lame.
The gun/sword/morpher thing is completely cool though. Very Zyuranger meets Akibaranger.

Finished Gokaiger on Friday. God, that was a good show(y)!
So I just started watching Kyoruger. Goddamn is this series upbeat. And I have to restrain myself from dancing along to it. Really think this one is going to be fun.
"Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others."-Groucho MarxThe latest crossover movie has been subbed. I probably won't get to watch it for awhile though.
Technically speaking, would this be the right thread for discussing Akibaranger? Because Season 2's started. And so far is is even crazier.
It's a correct thread, yes.
I don't know if another thread for that series is available, though.
far as my searches of the site can tell, nope. No other topics exist for the Akibarangers. Am liking season 2's plot so far.
from the look of it, the akibarangers have somehow taken over Dairanger's place in the sentai lineup and even the Akibarangers arent sure why
so. Watched episode 1 of Toc Qger in raw. Even so, this show is absolutely hilarious so far.
Yeah, ToQugers are fun. Although at the end, when the puppet let slip the "You're all dead anyway" bit... My first reaction was "Did Urobuchi walk into the wrong studio one day?"
ToQgers Might have, so far, the worse costumes and Mecha I've seen in Super Sentail. ToQ-Oh is borderline hilarious. The costumes with their train tracks actually ARE hilarious. Did the guy responsible for designs take a sabbatical or something?
I actually like them myself. I'd argue that they grow on you over time.
oddly, I like the costumes,
Sure, theyre simple but they have to be given the line-transfer mechanic,
The robot I admit is kind of silly, but lets be honest, its an elegant solution to forming a train based mecha without losing the train theme during the linkup. Plus the show is hammy and self-aware of the sillyness, which makes it much more endearing.
Theyre not trying to be serious. Even the monsters of the week point out how ridiculous half of this is.

So I know we have some fans for it around. The newest series Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger aired yesterday and while I haven't seen it yet I am still looking forward to it if the OP and ED are any indication to the tone of the show.
Thoughts on the franchise?
