It's weird watching some of his older videos where he had less of his trademark humor (though it was still there) and he didnt really know what the subject matter of his channel was going to be (he had reviews of video games, and not just ones based off of cartoons, he reviewed the Malibu Street Fighter comic, he reviewed one of those Godfrey Ho Ninja films).
Hey, anyone remember this:
tl;dr: Waffsicle apologizes to everyone in Twitlonger, tags Craig and Rebel Taxi, then posts an image of their Writer's Guild registration torn to shreds.
That ripped registration tweet isn't there anymore. Hope someone archived it...
I think it's about time we revived this thread, and here's the perfect subject:
- Honorable Mentions:
- Nicktoons Unite!
- The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
- Quack Shot
- Ed Edd N Eddy The Miss Edventures
- Tom And Jerry War Of The Whiskers
- Teen Titans Battle Blitz
- The Incredibles
- Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure
- Ghost in the Shell
- Ben 10: Protector of Earth
- The Sponge Bob Movie Game
- Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights
- Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People
- Transformers: Devastation
- Family Guy
- FusionFall
- #11: Aladdin (Virgin Games): Considering this game's sprite-work is based actual hand-drawn animation from the film's artists, an upgrade in resolution would make it pop like never before.
- #10: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time: No, not the Re-shelled edition, preferably something with the original music. Hopefully, it's not too Screwed by the Lawyers.
- #9: The Adventures of Batman and Robin: Specifically, we're talking about the Sega CD version, specifically for its full-motion cut-scenes written, animated, and voiced by the show's staff!
- #8: Toy Story 2: Kingdom Hearts III makes it pretty clear that video game CGI has grown to match movie CGI, so maybe this little-known 3D platformer could benefit from an update.
- #7: Shrek SuperSlam: Call it a meme if you will, but we could always use more 3D platform fighters in the vein of Power Stone. Until then, there's always Mighty Fight Federation and Give Em Hell.
- #6: Sheep, Dog 'n' Wolf: This little-known Puzzle Platformer / Stealth-Based Game with Toon Physics starring Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog demonstrates the ideal game genre to do Looney Tunes justice.
- #5: Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion: With some more fighters and less floaty psychics, this one could have some real potential. Pan spoke to a former dev and it turns out the game had a really Troubled Production and wound up Christmas Rushed.
- #4: Epic Mickey: This game generated a lot of buzz early on, only to lose it all after Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. There are rumors of a remaster circling around, so maybe it might make a comeback (with far less waggle to boot).
- #3: Astro Boy: Omega Factor: Already a highly satisfying Beat 'em Up, some more manga-esque visuals and a frame-rate upgrade would be more than welcome.
- #2: The Simpsons: Road Rage: Yeah, Hit & Run has the bigger following, but the opportunity to reconnect the stages into a single open-world is just too great to pass up.
- #1: The Simpsons Hit & Run: It speaks for itself, really. Maybe they'll even add more cars (and put them in Rocket League).

Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart. For Halloween, Pan treats to the history of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (Oh, and Evil Con Carne).
So...
Remember last year, when Pan talked about how he got to do character designs for a big project that he figured he'd get into trouble with online?
Said project got leaked. It was a denser and wackier Mortal Kombat cartoon called Mortal Kombat Ultra Girls. Long story short, it was concocted by executives who figured something as bloody and grim as MK could use other avenues of content. Like kids who watch Teen Titans Go! or something.
That said, the execs who came up with jogged on while new execs are sitting on it, probably not sure what to do with it.
In the meantime, Pan's locked up his Twitter account to avoid the onslaught of rage tweets or something, so wish him well, guys!

New cartoon retrospective: Celebrity Deathmatch:
(And it turns out when you're verified, you get a notification section where it's only verified.)
Pan rings in the new year with an inspiring look at the history of indie animator Tony Luke.
Wanna know what happens when you approve a show for 20 episodes without even seeing the pilot? You get Minoriteam, a group of caricarures and racicial minoeities who combat racism. If I didnt know better, I would have confused it for a Marvel Comic done by Nick Spencer.
It's pretty sad that all the controversy going on over at Warner Bros. Discovery had to coincide with Cartoon Network's 30th anniversary, but let's harp on about that too much. Instead, let's focus on Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway take a look back on the history of Cartoon Cartoon Fridays!
Pan offers his two cents on the recent Primos controversy:
Late, but good video. The Beavis and Butt-Head clips were funny, and I thought it was an well-done, interesting breakdown overall of the controversy — especially coming from me, someone who doesn't follow animation as much as I used to.
I will refrain from commenting on Primos itself as I am not Hispanic and cannot speak for the Hispanic community.

TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallPan uploads another episode into his "Strange & Colorful XBox 360 Games" series. The video games covered include:
- 0:55: Hail To The Chimp
- 7:59: Adrenalin Misfits / Cross Board 7
- 13:08: Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley (Backwards Compatible)
- 21:05: Orcs Must Die! (BC)
- 24:52: Contra Hard Corps: Uprising (BC)
- 30:32: Blur
He's also experimented with doing YouTube Shorts a bit. His latest addresses the use of 2D Visuals, 3D Effects:
Oh yeah Cars being 3D models is a thing once you notice you can't stop noticing it
New theme music also a boxMAD: The animated series
Never watched their 'mad' cartoons but I have heard most people found they painfully unfunny,
New theme music also a boxI did watch them. Those people are correct.
I never seen the MAD cartoons. The fact that it sold itself as a Robot Chicken for kids sounds like a weird concept to me.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Especially because 'Robot Chicken for kids' is... basically Robot Chicken. Kids watched Adult Swim whether they were technically supposed to or not.
Hell, even when I was a teenager, I thought Adult Swim was incredibly juvenile in its shows and advertising. I remember once saying to my mom that its more like a kid's idea of what adults watch.
Oh I remember these. Some were good, some were whiffs, but even the much smaller inbetween skits could be really good. The Spy vs Spy ones were always really good though.
They were usually the best ones. The Twilight parody was also the best of the “cut-up heads” shorts. Most of those were just really lazy or relied on one-note jokes.
Everybody loves the me! I’m a great athlete!MADtv also had Spy vs. Spy shorts and they were way better than the ones in Cartoon Network's MAD. The winning spy's little chipmunk giggle is permanently seared into my brain.
Honestly, Pan's video just made me nostalgic for the magazine.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Yeah, I still can't believe that MAD Magazine is officially gone.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!
Pan takes a look at Love, Death & Robots and arranges the episodes from worst to best:
