Let's hope they take a cue from NV and write a good story and questline.

I'm actually okay with Three Dog - considering you can turn the radio off on your Pipboy and all.

I swear to god if they dumb it down again, I will go down to Maryland and destroy Todd Howard if it's the last thing I do.

I just wanna see if they are gonna take most of the improvements from NV gameplay wise. I not expecting too much from the narrative....

Iron sights are a must-have, yes. The companion wheel is also very nifty.

The Speech system, Damage Threshold, Better uses of the Special and Skill stats, Actually unique weapons, ammo types etc.

Not much to go on, but it is nice to have a kinda-sorta official announcement.

But yeah, if it will be developed by Bethesda, it will suuuuck D: whencomparedtonewvegasandifithadbeendonebyobsidianoriginalgamesarebest.

Look all I'm hoping for is a game with less BS glitches and stuff. I'm hoping they take what they've learned with 3 and NV and apply it to this, so we can have a great atmosphere, quality writing, and actual reliability in operation. And hopefully somewhere with an interesting setting, both culturally and environmentally.

The Commonwealth might be fun to see.

Eh, I enjoyed Fallout 3 more than New Vegas—though New Vegas does have undoubtedly better gameplay functions. So I look forward to the potential new installment by Beth.

I hated Fallout 3, but I welcome Three Dog back if he shows up again.

It's another opportunity to kill that smug piece of dog crap.

And then Bethesda makes him essential solely to spite you.

Cheating aside. The best part of Fallout 3 was being able to mod it so you can. I don't believe Skyrim went without this, either.

Oh, Bethesda loves to use the essential tag to railroad you into their plot. It felt like a third of Skyrim's population was immortal (and none of the shopkeeps)

I mean, honestly, there is no need to remove more gameplay elements. Fallout New Vegas sold 5 million copies, and as long as Fallout 4 isn't Big Rigs 2: Post-Apocalyptic Boogaloo in terms of quality, it'll sell even more just from the whole "THE GUYS FROM SKYRIM MADE THIS" hype that will follow.

Is a plot that actually makes sense too much to ask for?
