Apparently, PSU buried the game tape from Temple. Hopefully, the starting O-line's scholarships also went in the hole.

And 6th-ranked Auburn has nearly fallen against an FCS school today.

That and Louisville's loss against Houston really made me doubt that it's even that good.

EDIT: And Wazzu beat Rutgers. Was last week's performance really THAT pedestrian?

And in other news, an FCS team defeated Div 2 College of Faith 86-0, but nothing counts. Not even the win. This is because College of Faith lacks accreditation.

UW has started to show some promise. Probably not enough to make anyone legitimately worried about the 2015 team, but they're young enough that the 2016 and 2017 teams will be worth talking about.

Today, the Jeremy Johnson era of Auburn football died. It was not a peaceful death.

You have to wonder if Oklahoma's AD has ever thought of putting some heat on Bob Stoops at some point.

I don't care if it's a rivalry game and anything can happen, Texas is a bad team and that's a bad loss.

I don't think Bob Stoops should be on a hot seat at all. Until 2013-2014, he'd never had two consecutive seasons without a conference championship. He still hasn't had two consecutive seasons with below 10 wins. I don't think Texas is as bad as they've looked.

Well, if it isn't our old friend Portland State, and this time it handed out the worst shellacking towards an FBS school by an FCS school. North Texas fired their coach on the spot right after a humiliating 66-7 display (and that 7's in garbage time).

And Michigan has a third straight shutout. Holy shit!

EDIT: And Oregon lost against Wazzu in overtime. Best week ever, bar none!

Yeah... It's just I'm a Palouse resident who's a Huskies fan, so seeing the Ducks suffer after having them be insufferable for at least a decade is great.

I disagree, not least because Auburn was off this week.

Week 6 of last year was the best week ever.

Apparently Sarkisian got sent home by USC's AD and is being asked to take a leave of absence.

Hmm... apparently Seven-Win Sark has a drinking problem evident before and after this preseason locker room debacle... I guess it's little wonder it's interim right now.

Speaking of interim, any news on the status of Rutgers' Kyle Flood?

He's still suspended for 3 games, but I doubt he'll return to a job once it's up.

I understand how Dabo feels about it but if Clemson Clemsons this year he'll never hear the end of it.

I don't think they've Clemsoned for a while (it's supposed to refer to choking against unranked scrubs they have no business losing to while on a roll). Losing against Florida State (which I still doubt would happen) won't do it, but at the moment, losing against Boston College (who can't even produce any kind of offense) or Syracuse (who lost handily to South Florida and struggled at home against Central Michigan) would.
