Which brings up the question: what are plot holes? "Hiccups" in the fabric of that world's reality?
This would also explain why some of the worlds on Sliders seemed to be ripped straight from films and other forms of media, they were actually in those worlds, or poorly written fan-fic versions of them at least... Or do fan-fics actually get their own universes?
Is not impressed. On the last question, I like to assume that yes, yes they do. Fanfics are still fiction after all. And good point on the Plot Holes, maybe some weird thing in one universe can cause weird inconsistencies in another or something. I dunno, it's not like I know every single detail of the multiverse.
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrThe fact that fan-fics get their own universes scares me. I'd hate to drop into a MLP fanfic universe... *shudders*
Is not impressed. So what you're saying is that all the fictional universes (lit, tv, etc.) are real, just shown through 'windows' such as the tv and books? Freaky... But cool!
Life is what you make of it, not what others make of it. Kind of wish I could believe that....Assuming this, our imagination must be some kind of power that lets us watch what's happening in other universes without actually being there. The TV Shows, books, games, etc. are the ways we subconsciously found to show other people what we see in these universes, since there's an infinity of universes and one cannot reach all of them alone, which also justifies why we human beings value works of fiction so much: It's our joint effort to see, compreend, and learn from all the infinite existance where we live in.

"......Huh?" Myself, 2014....True dat. It has to be. Speaking of which, agh why is it that every time I try to share an alternate universe of an already existing universe I end up procrastinating on the fanfic and no one else gets to see it? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!? ARCEUS DAMNIT WHOEVER PLACED A RESTRAINING BOLT ON ME GET IT THE FUCK OFF RIGHT NOW!
Yeah pretty much.
Or any Crapsack World, for that matter.

moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrThe way I see it is that ther is only one multiverse containing every single possibility including most works of fiction and writing fiction dosen't let you look through some sort of window it's more of a broken clock being right twice a day thing. Also ( this is where it can get confusing) traveling to another crapsack dimension and making better dosent actually do anything it just creates variations of what could of happened aswell as one where you never showed up and also creates a myraid of variants of your home universe.
I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in timeStrangely enough I actually understood the latter part of that and not the first part (I'd already thought of the second—no, actually I'd already thought of that and just didn't feel like bringing it up).
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrThe first part is basically the same qs the general idea except it basicaly allows universes that are a mix of say , DC comics and power rangers because everything shares the same multiverse
Also I felt pretty proud of myself for that last part , I explained it a lot better than I thought I could.
I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in timeTechnically crossovers also have their own multiverse, I never said they didn't in the OP.

moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrWhat i mean is the multiverses are all conected in a big extradimensional web. Sortof eliminating the idea of isolated multiverses.

I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in timeUhh I think I need a diagram or something, I think I might get what you're saying but I'm not sure :/
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrYou've probably got it and I can't give you a diagram, partially Cause it would require more than 3 dimensions, and partially Cause I can't draw worth a shite
I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in timeRiiiiight... ._______.
Wait aren't you the guy from Tropers are the Result of a Genetic Experiment?
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrYep , and you're the girl from it. Do try to keep up

I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in timeWhy yes. Yes I am.
Hmm, maybe if we can examine the multiverse more clearly we might be able to figure out what we need to do here, how we were created, what to do about them or whatever...
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblr-GASP- crossing threads. Woman you cray-cray
I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in timeDon't examine the multiverse nothing good ever comes of it
I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in timeYou ever consider using the edit button? Would be a lot faster.
I couldn't help it, I just had to. XDDDDD
ORLY? Prove it.
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrI thought about it but then I was all" fuck that shit" so I decided otherwise
I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in time...Ok then. XDD
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrLook trust me nothing good comes of multiversal stuff
I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in timeReally? Why, then?
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrBecause you can't actually change anything , all you get i'd a total mind screw
I AM THE PUN GOD ~Me , at some point in time
Or more accurately, multiverse. For every work of fiction that is created, a complete multiverse exists where the events of the story are true. Every multiverse has one and only one universe each selected to appear as the main story of an original work of fiction in every other multiverse, and the only way to unearth all the literal Alternate Universes is through What If? stories. This would explain the complex network of Shout Outs that pervades modern fiction. Though, if you think about it, this also makes Trapped in TV Land, Refugee from TV Land, and Real-World Episode the same trope under different names. Crossovers share the same multiverse.
