Hm, good to know. I hear he's mentioned in one of the Steins;Gate games, and then there's this sequel on the PSP that will probably never be translated...
Still, Taku's alive and doing well, I'm happy for the dude. Sometimes too delusional for my tastes(Which makes him slightly more unique than the next harem protagonist, if he even counts as one, so it's a good thing I guess).
Before I get into the Steins;Gate VN, which ending of the VN did the anime follow? I hear there are way more than just 3 endings in this...

It followed the True ending. Most of the endings are sort of like 'you did it wrong!' endings or at best 'we were forced to include these' endings. If I were you I'd skip the Mayuri and Kurisu endings. Mayuri's ending will require you go through the entire game again from the start and the True Ending is the Kurisu ending except it continues on to a better conclusion.

Yeah, that's what I did. I got around to the Mayuri ending later, and I just never bothered with the Kurisu ending.

Moeka is funnier than I gave her credit for. I don't think I ever read her chapter 3 mails.
Really, it's too bad Faris and Ruka seem so superfluous. Apart from Nae, everyone else in the story is really pretty critical, but those two just seem to fill up time. Time that probably did need to be filled up, granted, but it probably could have been done better.

I think their chapters would've been better if the focus was on what they had to sacrifice and whatnot, and not playing around with them for most of the time.

Interestingly, it's taking place in 2015, instead of after Robotics;Notes, which was 2019-2020.
Also, that blog you linked to belongs to Reading Steiner, one of the main translators of the series. He's usually pretty reliable, and he's where the fans go to for anything. In fact, he's actually working on the official English release of Steins;Gate.

Because I like Chaos;Head. Dunno what people find bad about it, but personally it's one of the best I've played.
PV looks nice, sound is barely audible, but that's about expected. Saddens me to see the article say there'll be lots of links towards Chaos;Head Noah, which we'll probably never see....

AA is the true end, and that's all there really is. Still, the rest of the Sci ADV series does continue things, and definitely won't be the last we see of Taku and the others.
