So back on Dragon Ball, I hate to bring up power scaling but where does Cell compare next to Kid Buu?

Like, Kid Buu is weaker than Super Buu after absorbing Gohan and the others, but how weak exactly?

Cell = Super Saiyan 2

Buu = Super Saiyan 3

Ah right, that makes sense.

Has anyone here played any of the Dragon Ball heroes games?

Because my head hurts trying to understand it.

It's basically in-universe fanfiction, is how I understand it. None of the crazy story nonsense is "real", it's a card game being played by a kid in the far future who happens to be a descendant of Goku. So, like, Goku was real, this takes place in Dragon Ball's future. But all the story of Heroes is just made-up in-universe for the card game he's playing.

Technically that would make it in-universe historical fiction

That's pretty disappointing. It's be like if Nintendo made a crossover fighting game where all the characters are collectible trophies instead of being real.

Whoever's making that card game absolutely refuses one certain character getting a certain form.

Its always weird to remember that by all accounts, Goku SHOULD be world famous. A two-time runner up, one time champion of the World Martial Arts Tournament. But no, Goku's just Cult Classic famous.

But hey, he's famous among gods now. That's something.

...Wait, do we see him raising his hand to give energy to Goku's Spirit Bomb against Buu? I honestly can't remember.

In fact, I vaguely remember him hyping up the crowd to do it when Mr. Satan asked them too, but I don't know if that's just Mandela Effect at work.

I mean he probably did. But I don't think he was part of the Montage. That featured bora and uppa, Giras, babas warriors and suno and android 8.

I think it's made by Bulma and Mr. Satan. Or at least was, I think they're dead of old age by the time of the "present".

But doesn't Bulma keep wishing herself younger in small increments?

I think she'll stop once her friends and family start getting old, though.

I think the only z fighter who'll still be around in the far future is Piccolo.

There might be a chance that 17 and 18 would be as well, depending on exactly how heavily their biology has been modified.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, the lore around Heroes is that the card game was developed by the Capsule Corp for the Pan Fighting Network, which was what became of the Satan School of Martial Arts after Mr. Satan got outed as a fraud and Pan took over. The in-game lore of Heroes, on the other hand, is pretty much like Xenoverse, but with more what-if stuff. If you want to play Heroes, there is a PC and Switch port that was localized, and that port has it's own original story that takes elements from both the outer and inner lore.

Is Ikari unique to Super Broly, or was it implied other Saiyans can use it?

Also wow, OG Broly got a unique "God Broly" to compete with Blue Goku huh.

Interesting that Pan made the game but she's never gone Super Saiyan in it.

It is unique to Broly, but the way it's explained (the power of the Oozaru concentrated into a human form) makes it sound achievable. Honestly, it kinda makes Broly's Rage form sound like a canon version of Super Saiyan 4. It does kinda have the same, spikey mullet and yellow eyes.

Yeah, I'm gonna blame that on Dimps. They still haven't given Pan or Turles a Super Saiyan form after all these years. It's especially jarring since some of this supplemental material came from the Victory Mission manga from Toyble, who already drew Super Saiyan Pan back in the day.

But supposedly, those machines that the kids use actually let them time travel and become their avatars, like Saiyans, Frieza clan, and Gods of Destruction.

And there's also the actual time patrol in the game. Like, Supreme Kai of Time and TP Trunks are here.

So Im aware the big continuty error that prevents return of cooler from being canon is dende being gaurdian of the earth. But uh how did that happen? As stated before he only became gaurdian in the manga 7 months after this film came out. Did the filmmaker knew from toriyama it was planned? Did toriyama get the idea from them? A very weird conincidence?
