There seems to be very little feedback from upper management to upper middle management
Ain’t no way to run a multiverse
Forever liveblogging the AvengersDamn it, this whole episode feels like a painful waste by filler standards. Basically Bulma and Jaco go to Zuno while Jaco does his usual schtick and gets attacked by Bulma. Yeah, not really my style of comedy, but there are some amusing moments.
I really hated that Bulma and Jaco forgot to ask the basic question of " Where is the last Super Dragon Ball? ". You morons, seriously. This was a big waste of time, and it wasn't even funny most of the time.
Sad this is what Bulma gets when she gets the spotlight for a change.
Alright, tournament time.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Okay, so I have to raise this question, so Goku and Vegeta used the hyperbolic time chamber to train for at least a week.
And that should add at least 7 years to their age count. Shouldn't they hit 80 sooner rather than later?
I know Frieza used the chamber at some point to train to be Black Frieza for 10 years, but I have accepted he's ageless. He looks exactly the same from blowing up Planet Vegeta, to confronting Goku in Namek. He has to be at least in his 60s to 70s.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Funnily enough they retconned Frieza’s appearance during that timeframe in the Broly movie so he now looked noticeably younger.
Nah, Toriyama just forgot how to draw Freeza.
And his designs in general have been smaller and slimmer.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I do kinda wish we could get a bit of the creation process.
Secret SignatureDo you think Baddock was trying to sound intimidating?
This is the best this dub has to offer.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie."Neither one will leave this fight unhurt" the narrator lied.
Red, did you already see the scene where everyone gathers to set off for the tournament planet? I forget the sequence of episodes a bit.
Yeah it's the start of the episode I just watched actually.
Where they all enter Whis's block thing, then Monaka is introduced, and I just now remembered he's actually a regular guy that Beerus lied about to motivate Goku into working harder. Thank you Xenoverse 2.
Damn it, the story had me going for a while there.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Goku mistaking his ignorance for nonchalance and deciding to punch him in the face IS hilarious though, even if you already know the twist!
Anyway, you've heard one of my favorite dub jokes now. Which is a little immature of me, but oh well...
"Krillin, where you been?.. Oh, were you summoning the dragon?"
It almost seems TOO clever for Goku to do a euphemism like that.
Although "Sure! Let's go see YAMCHA!" was easily the best dub joke.

I legit got confused on why Krillin was late till I heard that.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Ah yes the big green dub. A work of art
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Alright, starting the tournament, and huh, that bear looks like an evil Winnie the Pooh.
So this is Frost? Man, people from universe 7 are profiling the hell out of this guy just because he's the same species as Frieza. I guess there is canon evidence that a Frieza clan patroller would be discriminated against by the heroes. Ooof.
So they play up Frost's heroic endeavors like doing charity work for the BILLIONS of space orphans in the wars he supposedly ends. Seeing Universe 7 cheer for him is pretty painful to watch since there really aren't any main characters who are actively doing good deeds and helping out people, and Frost is a fraud. Even Champa seems sympathetic to Frost's seemingly noble motivations, which coming from a destroyer god is VERY nice.
Then Vados tells him not to care about his charity, and that a destroyer deity shouldn't care about what is cruel or not.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I mean, Saiyans and Namekians being leery of somebody of Freeza's species kinda makes sense after both of them being victims of genocide. Both spacefaring civilizations were left in the single digits at his hands after all, even if Dragon Balls got the Namekian numbers back up.
Also the Frieza type we see is a Mutant meant to be more cruel and evil than the normal of the species. I think it's implied that Frieza's race aren't actually suposed to transform at all.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."King Cold is such an extreme mutation that Toriyama basically said he's not even of the same species as what he came from.
Is Broly a Saiyan mutant?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Sorta, his "Legendary Super Saiyan" definitely isn't a normal thing, especially with how green it is.
LMAO at Beerus trying to be encouraging to Goku after losing through gritted teeth.
Ouch at Goku telling Piccolo he stands no chance at beating Frost and best he can do is weaken him enough for Vegeta.
Damn all the Saiyan spotlight, I wanna see Piccolo kick ass. C’mon Demon King, beat that wannabe Frieza!

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. You know, for a guy who prides himself on deception, trickery, and murder, Frost REALLY LOVES ANNOUNCING WHAT A BAD GUY HE IS AND CONFIRMING VADOS TELLING EVERYONE THAT HE STARTS WARS.
Is he stupid?
Like I just thought he confessed in Xenoverse 2 because the time patroller and Piccolo were pressuring him, but nope, he just flat out admits he's a war criminal the moment Vados brings it up. Almost seems glad he can let it all out TBH.
I dunno if Frieza and him meet, but even Frieza is more subtle than this.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Yeah, that's Frost for ya. It's gonna be funny when you get to the Tournament of Power.

Wait, he gets to fight again? Damn, these people have the memory of goldfish.
Speaking of, that's the arc with female Broly right?

The supreme kai of time is the only one who is competent at her job, and she's barely canon.
